Here's a video:

We also got some testing in with the same set-up and meth. There's some more headroom but picked up another ~50whp.

All with an open diff...lol. Mine has a Stage 1 APR tune, even that gets a little squirmy on launch or low speed high throttle applications.

I know the blue car has 21x12.5” ET70 rear wheels with 325/30/21 tires. Do these fit without rubbing on SPASM height or does the car need to be lowered?

I feel like this would be nice for some more traction on tuned cars but every other 21” wheel I see on this site is 11.5” or 12” rear with 305 or 315 tires.

No rubbing, I have those on the T now. The blue car was quite a bit lower and no issues.

Very reliable, we use it more on the Turbos. Some folks don't like it for the added system/complexity of install but it is effective in adding power.

We had the opportunity to take it to the track for a stock shakedown. I put some more thoughts here on our blog for those interested:
https://flat6motorsports.com/blogs/n...-t-breaking-in

The video has some thoughts, I need to get better at driving on track and talking, so my apologies for some pauses - Jon

Overall, I really enjoy the T vs the stock Base on the track. Small/minor differences but feels more fun!

Awesome write up John. Cant' wait to see what's in the store the T

Do you have any still pictures of the T with the BCForged wheels ? Curious to see how the stance look with the stock SPASM

We've got some good baseline testing done for the T at our home testing track (Circuit Florida). A lot more testing to come in the coming months. We validated the ME Stage 1 tune and will be doing more testing on various components like intercooler effectiveness and development of our intercooler water sprayer kit that we've been developing for some time.

We recently reinstalled the PCCB conversion kit and added Motul RBF 660, pics below!

Teaser - We also had the opportunity to also take the vehicle up to Ohlins USA to get their Road & Track coilover kit dialed in. We'll have a blog post and deep dive video coming in the next week or so showcasing that trip. We got some mountain driving in and also a track day at Road Atlanta. We're excited to bring that story to you, I think any enthusiast will find it pretty fascinating.

Super cool stuff!

Do the coilovers improve steering feel much?

The steering in stock 992 Carreras feels a little dead, hoping a set of good coilovers livens it up a bit!

I would imagine higher compression damping and stiffer spring rates should help!

I don't think it really helps steering feel but it does give a lot better turn in and more controlled feel.

I don't think this was asked but why do P car tuners love meth so much? I feel like it's so 90s when ethanol is available at the pump without extra equipment. Any reason why it's not more widely used?
It's so much more common in the BMW and Audi world, no one uses meth. Like a stop 1 E60-85 tune on an RS 3 or TT RS jumps from 400 hp stock to 592.
Sure, you could add a content reader but it isn't necessary and there are options for flex fuel which does add a bit to the cost but allows for the ability to not worry about the actual ethanol content.
Meth requires much more hardware and eats up limited trunk space.

I did see that M Tuning does offer it but more curious why more people don't use it.

The injectors aren't upgradable and can't sustain the duty cycle requirements for higher output.

Thanks John. Is this a down side to Porsche changing to Piezo injectors in the 9A2 Evo engine? I have noticed some reports of fuel injectors issues (missing annd CEL) and Porsche issued a TSB on it. Is this also a problem for the tuners since richer fuel air ratios require higher injector duty cycles under load also ?
