992 Carrera T Build (Flat 6 Motorsports)
Hey all, this is Jon from Flat 6 Motorsports. We recently picked up a 992 Carrera that we've done and will be doing a lot of testing and development on. I thought I'd start a thread to share some updates as we have data/testing results and pictures, info and insights.
We'll be testing about 15 different exhaust combinations, tuning, suspension, intercoolers, turbos, water/meth, etc.
Just a quick running list of parts/solutions we'll be testing:

Well, we finally got to the dyno today with the S/GTS turbos. We're offering as a kit here: https://flat6motorsports.com/product...kit-992carrera
Installation:
Super simple swap of the turbos which takes the base Carrera to an S/GTS mechanically (from an engine standpoint). The 992 is a bit easier to work on than the 991.2 Carrera thanks to the V-band clamps on the link pipes and smarter routing of the oil/coolant lines to the turbos. Installation can be completed in 4-5 hours by an experienced mechanic.
Development & Testing:
Not a ton here to discuss as these are OEM turbochargers and the guys @M Engineering have a wealth of experience with tuning the S/GTS platform. I might be oversimplifying their efforts, but essentially swap the turbos and load their Stage 1 calibration for the S/GTS. At least it's that simple for a consumer! We've done this a ton on the 991.2 Carrera so we have good experience with a similar vehicle. We did quite a bit of logging and confirming with M-Engineering to make sure everything was working as intended.
Driving Impressions:
The power output is dramatically increased. It's a completely different car (just as the 991.2 Carrera are with the GTS turbos). The base model doesn't have a LSD. Traction isn't a huge problem but now the tires get some nice slip angle/slight drifting on throttle. The car will dance a little bit but in a very controlled and predictable way. I love the ratios in the 8-speed PDK versus the previous generation's 7-speed. It allows the 992 to just keep ripping through the gears. If you have a base Carrera (or waiting on your Carrera T) you need to give some serious consideration to this package. It's a very safe/reliable set-up that is extremely simple. I think a lot of folks would be in love with this package where it sits.
Future Build Plans:
We'll be testing about 15 different exhaust combinations next and doing a large video series on that providing insights on the sound characteristics of each set-up. We do plan to do full bolt-ons (Link Pipes/Muffler, IPD Plenum, BMC Air Filters, CSF Intercooler, Do88 Inlets, and Water/Meth Injection). Our plan is to test that set-up with the stock GTS turbos. After that, we'll be installing the newest generation of the Pure Turbos and see what the true potential is of the 992 Carrera platform. So stay tuned, a lot more coming!

I wanted to start off by sharing a full review of the M-Engineering ECU Tune. Install is very simple, you just need a laptop or PC within reach of the car. Connect to the OBD-II port and you read some quick info. After sending the file of information, M-Engineering will shoot back a tuned file within a business day (sometimes within hours!). One key thing we absolutely love about the tuning suite is the ability to remove the cold-start sequence and change the PSE button to full time open or close with the valves. If you didn't know Porsche closes the valves even with PSE on from about 1-4K rpms.
Driving Impressions:
Overall, the car drives largely the same as stock until you put your foot into it. Then you will feel a very nice increase in torque. The car just feels more lively and fun to drive. Pulling the 992 out of the garage in the morning is nice now because there is no more cold start lasting 1+ minute annoying the neighbors!
Dyno Testing:
Results are below, very nice pick up for the base model with all else stock. The area under the curve is tremendous and you really feel it driving.
Dragy Testing:
Our "test track" is pretty level, slightly uphill but has a small kink in the road. It's also a tad bumpy but we're able to run safely and consistently before/after. We'll never set any records with our runs but very impressive results.
Track Testing:
We also had the ability to test at the FIRM here in Florida. We didn't notice substantially higher speeds on the straights but on longer corner exits, the car seemed to pick up pace with the added torque delivery.
Video:
We also made a video of this for anyone to check out.

We recently installed and tested the AWE Wind Foilers. These have been a popular item on 911s and Cayman/Boxsters for some time. We didn't notice a ton of change around 60mph but on the track for sure! Absolutely, if you do high speeds with your 992 with the windows down, check these out!
We also posted a video recently showcasing the product:

We also had to make the car look better and ditch the (in our opinion hideous) orange side markers for our Flat 6 LED side markers. We offer them in both clear or smoked. We're sticking with clear for now but thought both looked good on the Gentian Blue exterior.
They also illuminate in amber to comply with DOT regulations in the U.S.

We've developed a mount for the Banks Power iDash/Data Monster gauge. It's a handy monitor that can be completely configured with colors, layout, monitors, etc. It can do things like display real time values, datalog, and also set alarms based on parameters such as water temps, oil temps, etc.
We didn't have sport chrono equipped so we bought a vent and rigged this up. Install is very simple, just have to fish a wire and it plugs into the OBD-II port. We'll have more information soon. We're still testing it out but I enjoy it!

You didn't have sport Chrono in this car and u still got 3.9s to 60mph??? Did u ride the brakes or do a 1 foot rollout?

No Chrono, holding the brake and matting the gas will put it into a launch sequence. Not as robust as sport chrono, but still pretty good. Those are raw 0-60mph numbers. With 1ft roll outs we hit 60 in 3.62 stock and 3.12 with the M-Engineering tune. We have a PDK.
