I’d hate to be new to the brand and looking to this thread for guidance. Lots of bad info.

He’s not wrong that the generation after 992 is 3-4 years away. With 992.2 coming for MY 2025, the earliest we’ll see another generation is for MY 2028.

Motor Authority’s latest photos doesn’t have the fish scale front shown in a previous post. I was just getting use to the idea.

Walk in off the street and want to walk out with one, it's going to be plus 20-30K.

With the new Cayenne release today I think we now know how the new tails will finish in the corners. also now have a good view of what the latest all digital dash is going to look and behave like. I'd assume the 992.2 has this same digital dash layout.

LOL.

Maybe they'll also adopt the new Cayenne shifter (taken from the 918) for the 992.2?

That plastic rocker button on the dash is the shifter?

How do you know what's selected? It just seems to toggle one position at a time, and I don't see anything light up to tell you what's selected. Is it one click down for R, then another click down for N, then another click down for D? And can you go back to P with a single press, or do you have to toggle back up to N, then R, then P?

Very subtle changes other than the physical central tachometer and center shifter going away plus the Taycan-style passenger screen option.

992.2 will probably go all digital tach (not to my liking) but I can’t see the middle shifter going away.

Turbo GT Cayenne dropped from europe for environmental reasons (according to Top Gear video)....interesting...wonder if it will affect the 992.2 lineup in europe as well as supply in general.
