I read it to mean cars that had been on previous FA trips. But, as I mentioned above, I can't see how that would add value either.

Would make a good story anyway. My story is my 911 came on the ship immediately before the FA, a survivor. I can't help but wonder if it is to the advantage of the ships owner if it sinks at this point. They no longer have to deal with the disposal of the ship and hauling of it etc. Pretty clear claim as it is "gone" completely and absolutely. I had a river house once that literally got washed away in a flood. All that was left was the slab. You could not even find articles from the house except for a few small items in giant pile a of trash. Pretty easy insurance claim to make. The luckiest thing that happened is we had the yard cleaned up and a tree trim by a crew and they took and sent me pictures of their work with the house. The lot and the house never looked better than before it washed away.

I can't make this stuff up. This was quite literally my neighbors river house. See all that debris around his house? That is not from his house, just stuff from other houses upstream. His roof was red not green as you see in the picture. Pause a moment for another lost Porsche. The house is gone, but the car remained. Just search Wimberley flood and you will see. That Honda Lawnmower underneath his car was not his.

Yes, I made it to Houston on the FA in November 2021. I don't expect added value for that but I am documenting it as part of the cars records. It is a good story.

I can’t see any perceived value tied to the FA. Plenty of car carrying vessels have sank. The FA isn’t special in that regard.

As I said, I don't expect any perceived value just a good story in the documentation of the car.

I could see it being a good story if you had somehow still received a car that was on the FA had it not sunk, but a replacement vehicle really has no story to document with it. It’s no different than any other replacement vehicle.

It's not a replacement vehicle. I am a FA alum... I made it over in November.

To this point . . . I'm far from a conspiracy theorist, but does anyone else think it's odd that there's no pictures or video of the ship sinking? It was being towed and accompanied by at least one fire suppression ship. So there were at least two vessels with crew and no one took or pic or a vid of the thing going down? Ships don't sink in seconds. It must have taken a few minutes at least.

Am I the only one that IMMEDIATELY on news of the ship sinking assumed they took it all the way down intentionally. Much simpler/cheaper to handle this mess if you own that boat if it finds its way to the bottom of the ocean.

Well as I said, I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all. But think about it . . . you've got a large ship being towed in open ocean. The seas get rough. At some point, the tow boat has a tough decision - cut the line or get dragged to the bottom with the ship you're towing. In today's world of sensationalist news, where're those stories? Something just doesn't add up to me.

This isn’t really sensationalist news. It’s a bunch of cars destined to those who are perceived as snobbish or the 1%. Hardly important to most people. There’s not even any human life involved.
