LOL! Do you have the extended fuel tank? I didn't think I needed it but now that I have it, I love going almost 500 miles between fill ups.

- PSE VALVE OPERATION TO 100% OPEN or CLOSED (not variable on rpm levels like the stock (992 )
- COLD START TIMING
- REV LIMITER
- TURN OFF AUTO-START/STOP

^ In order of most desired...
Right now we don't have any additional charges for those specific custom features. It's possible that could change in the future as we add on more fun stuff
Auto start/stop logic is not ready just yet.

According to ipse dixit, keeping the PSE open leads to turbulence and hence reduces low end torque.

Charles, or anyone else, did you guys find this to be true during dyno testing?

The PSE is after the cats. Cats are the world’s greatest flow straightener if they are present. PSE open might help low speed turbo rpm a bit by increasing delta P across the turbine stage, but it is a weak **** compared to other calibratable options already available. A flow straightener immediately after the turbine stage can improve boost lag, but this only is in play if the wastegate is shut and it often is not on the 992 at low speed and moderate load.

A few questions. Is this tune also available for EU customers?

Here there are several companies that can tune the 992 that will cost about USD 1000,-, including finetuning on the dyno. Csn this tune still be better than one that is tested and finetuned on the dyno?

Nothing to note for power in regards to PSE on or off. If you're trying to get something freer flowing, go with link pipes or a catback system which also happen to take some weight off as well.

Yes, we have done a number of cars in Europe! M-Tuner allows us to work remotely if custom tuning or troubleshooting is required. We'll still be able to review all data points even on the European ROMs.
Let us know if we can help!

Cold start is gone!! Great job M-engineering! Car starts up like a normal car now. No more waking up the neighbors leaving the house.

Does this tune get rid of the cold start or is this something you wanted done?

I believe this was an individual request as cold start is there by Porsche design to pre warm the engine and no tuner would remove it for no reason.

Yep, at my request. Cold start is not there to warm up the engine. It is there to warm up the catalytic converters.

Just curious, any thoughts on tuning the PDK to work with tune?

PDK Tuning is under investigation of course by us.
Trans is holding fine with the power levels of our current map offerings. It's not until the really big power numbers with big mods do we need to increase clutch clamping forces and change shift schedule and behaviors. Even with our Stage 4 package we are within what it can handle. Porsche did a great job on this iteration of the PDK.

stage 4??? What do you guys consider stage 4? Thanks!

can you break it down?

stage 1: ECU with or without High Flow Filter
stage 2: ECU with high flow cat (or more free flowing exhaust)
stage 3: ECU with Turbo upgrade, intake plenum/manifold, intercooler?

Thanks for the explanation. I have tuned every car I've had and it is in my experience that have both tunes work best for driveability. I guess I will find out when I have it installed and all. Will keep posted, for the PDK tune.
