This seems awesome and after reading up, I realize I could and would never be able to remove the ECU to ship it out.
I really would love a tune on the car, but I would prefer to have less gains. I want some modest gains. These seem to be top end, extreme gains.
This car is my daily driver and I love putting some throttle down to enter a highway. In my mind I would want a tune that increases drivability and power gains throughout. Maybe a pipedream
Cheers
The ECU does not need to come out when using M-Tuner. We are currently the only tuning solution that is a true OBD flash. You can do this from the comfort of your own garage at home.
You'll find our tunes are great for daily drivability, really nice feel around town and when you get on it, the delivery feels great throughout the whole rev-range.
Absolutely not ! A claim of 600 whp can be proven with a 1/4 trap of 131 mph
I am planning on having Dyno work done in the next 2 weeks once M-Engineering sends me updated flash files for my vehicle for some requested updates I've asked for.

I think I misworded my comment. I see the power band looks great. Not peaky.
I meant i would prefer a tune that adds let’s say 50 hp/tq.
I don’t want to test the internals, my tires, brakes with 600 hp or whatever it puts down, when it’s stock form is 450 hp.
just want a modest bump in power with a tune.
I appreciate all the comments and advice!!! My car only has 1900 miles. May consider this tune later, as so far it seems like the best option

What updates did you request? I imagine the tune is a work in progress and will get refined as time goes on with input from customers. I would like the neutral rev limiter removed or raised. Also, is there a no lift shift option?

For manual cars, is it possible to raise the rev limiter while car is neutral so we can rev the engine beyond 3500 RPM? Thanks.
Thanks for the tune Mitch. As everyone has said, the tuning process is very simple. And the car feels great, just don't turn off PCM.... Ask me how I know.
I sent Mitch and email with a few requests. Hopefully we can see a few more features in the near future.

We will certainly add flat-foot-shifting to our list of possible custom features for the future! Thank you for the suggestion. We can raise the neutral rev limiter if you like.

Yes, we can do that with M-Tuner.

Thank y'all for posting feedback! Glad to hear everyone is enjoying the calibrations and flash process. These cars are really fun out of the box, but certainly become new animals with the M-Tuner suite.
For those needing a quick reference to the power figures, below are Stage 1 and Stage 2 in 93 octane on the base model Carrera. Going Stage 2 is a good size leap in power and torque you can definitely feel

Do you have stage 2 hp/tq figures for C2S (above look to be specifically for base)?
I have sport cats and filters. Do I have the option of going with stage 1 or stage 2 tune depending on how aggressive I want the tune to be, or is stage 2 my only option given I'm running sport cats?

I don't specifically have the dyno plots for a C2S at this time. We have certainly tuned a number of them, just not on the specific identical dyno we normally tune on to have accurate comparable numbers for y'all for our map notes. As soon as that's done we can have fresh graphs.
We recommend running the appropriate mapping for you car based on your hardparts upgrade path. If you have sport cats you will want to run Stage 2.
If you want to run the mapping with the least ignition time and least aggression, you can run the 91 mapping. These engines still have a lot of headroom on them from Porsche and can handle the mapping we provide without issue. M-Tuner still utilizes all OEM ECU engine safeties, so things like knock control, thresholds for pressures and temperatures, and fuel compensations are all present.
