By the way, this would not be the first example of a car with more HP clocking in at a slower time against a car with less HP. Lot of factors that determine things. Sorry, but weight DOES matter in Motorsport.
A lot of that GTS weight is in the wheels because it gets the larger brakes from the turbo model.

If you aren’t concerned with wear, the ceramic brakes are a better choice than the lightweight package since the mass is rotating and unsprung. Plus you don’t have to get in and out of buckets, deal with more road noise, or a smaller lithium battery.

I recently had my lock date on my 4GTS (US West coast delivery) moved up from 1/28 to 1/17. I asked my SA who told me that there's some short-term relief on the congestion, but who knows if it'll last. Anyone else have a similar thing happen?

Yes, my lock date moved forward from 11/24. Was locked 11/10 when I tried to delete extended leather dash and lower door panels and delete leather seat back. luckily, SA got it done.

I would expect similar feel between a C2S & GTS due to same wheelbase and tires. Tires can have a significant impact on driving feel. I recently put track wheels with Goodyear Supercar 3 tires on my C2S and wow! GT3ish? Completely transformed the car, initially thought a wheel might be loose.

Anybody know what tires come stock on the GTS? I can't seem to find a good answer anywhere.

My C2S build came out to be $135K (w/ Sport Design Package). My GTS build came out to be around $143K. $8K difference. I think if I didn't order Sport Design Pack, I would go C2s and save $13K. If I order Sport Design Package, I would step up to GTS.

Default 992 GTS PORSCHE

Hi Guys,

1. The 7 speed manual in the GTS the same as the GT3 manual ?
2. Do the Turbo s exclusive center lock wheels fit on the GTS

My dealership arrival date changed from 03/18 to 03/11 (again). Good that both times it has moved in the right direction. Of course it may change again but March does seem like a reasonable month for me to take delivery.

Build code = PNZRZWA8

I was able to get a last minute slot on December 18th and it locked on the 22nd. Code: P N H T 2 L 9 9 I should have it by the end of March.

The GT3 is a 6 speed, GTS is 7 Speed. Never get to 7th, but done for emission controls…
I believe the wheels fit. Much of that system is taken from the Turbo S.

I don't think wheels will fit, especially in the front (+0,7in).

GTS CL "Turbo" wheels are 8,5J x 20 ET50 + 11J x 21 ET66 245/35 ZR20 + 305/30 ZR21
Turbo S exclusive wheels are 9,5J x 20 ET44 + 12J x 21 ET70 255/35 R20 + 315/30 R21

Front Turbo S wheels will have an inner rim which is 6.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 18.7mm more than before.

Rear Turbo S wheels will have an inner rim which is 16.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 8.7mm more than before.
