Unfortunately, comes with a CEL unless you run a tune.
If you're going to go catless - you will get the CEL. If you decide to get a tune to prevent that - you could do the M-Engineering tune which would allow you to force the valves open all the way with PSE activated. This would be a great bang for your buck - more power and you can hear the car much better now that the variable valves won't be closed most of the time.

Default IPE valves exhaust only

I installed IPE rear section only last week on my c2s with pse
here’s some my feeling towards the exhaust
1.cold start is significantly louder but still doesn’t sound very good
2.very close to stock with valve closed in normal mode but with reasonable amount of drone lower down
3. 15% louder in sport mode with valve open but also drones much more than stock PSE
4. Sounds best downshifting around 3-5k rpm
5.sounds better at mid higher rpm as well.
6. Sounds worse than stock pse valve open

conclusion : prob won’t do it again and This engine just doesn’t sound all that great

I really like the Sharkwerks exhaust.

Louder, but still maintains the 911 9A2 Evo engine sound.

However, my friend's Mustang had an exhaust with a severe drone at about 2300 RPM where when the car reached that RPM, it felt like this loud, unpleasant exhaust sound was resonating in the middle of my skull. That is what I would define as drone.

Other exhausts, like the Remus in my F80 M3 sound somewhat louder than stock and is noticeable in steady state crusing but does not have an unpleasant resonance, though I can see how someone would say it drones if they want the exhaust to sound as quiet as stock.

Even my stock PSE exhaust with M Engineering tune the forces exhaust flaps open fully in Sport mode sounds louder then stock PSE and actually even imparts a bit more of vibration in the car, but, to my ears, that's not droning either.
All aftermarket, and even some stock, exhaust drone. It's just a matter of how much. Some more than others. And some owner are more or less sensitive to the drone.

It's like all coffee has caffeine, even decaf; it's just a matter of how much, or how little, caffeine is extant.

How is it for leisure cruising and daily driving? Is it comfy or too loud?

This is impossible to answer.

It's too individual. What's too loud for me, might be just fine for you; and vice versa.

If you are at all worried about an aftermarket exhaust being too loud in any environment (either leisure cruising, canyon carving, or at an HPDE event with sound limits) then don't do an aftermarket exhaust.

I had plenty aftermarket exhausts and 3 of my current 5 have a custom setup. So, I have an idea. But I can be more direct - is it an annoying drone and rattle when not under full load at a wide RPM range which kills the enjoyment of just cruising?

Usually cruising at steady speeds on a highway is when it's most noticeable. Not WOT.

That’s where the Europipe shines: great sound from idle to redline and 100% guaranteed drone free.

I would think anyone would do much better asking here then having a go at Google. I have had much better luck here than hours of Internet searches. Obviously you don’t and I’d like to hear why. Thanks.

So these as well as your primary cats are in stock in America ready to go? Ready to be shipped? Where is your pricing? Thanks man.

Our exhaust is a one piece unit with a bellow in the centre for a stress free fitment. We don’t sell the cats seperately, I’m sorry.

I don’t like just swapping the stock cats with high flow cats as you’re stuck with these odd valves that open and close all the time. Makes me go bananas really. And with the valves open all the time you’ll get drone. That’s what you get with these simplistic bypass x-pipes designs.

The Europipe is a non valved exhaust but you have to reinstall the electric motors that normally control the valves.
We also offer a system for the Euro cars with the OPF, see picture below.

Price for the US system is $5,480. The Carrera exhaust is in stock and the delay for the Turbo is one week.
The exhausts are build in Belgium by my brother Herman and myself. Been building Porsche race and sport exhausts professionally since 1988.
