My Rubystar T is aboard the Supreme Ace! Porsche Logistics team just emailed me to confirm that they were able to get her on the first Ship bound for Davisville, RI port on the east coast and she should arrive there on July 9th/10th. Since its an ED car that just went through German Customs, they also said that she should be delivered to the Dealer within 24-48 hours of arriving at the port with no additional customs needed! Hadn't heard that before, but I will be cautiously optimistic and keep my fingers crossed that just over 2 weeks from today I may see her again!
Just scheduled Full Car PPF and Ceramic, so at least another 3+ days of waiting once I drop off there.
Absolutely crazy turnaround time for me so far... feeling very lucky. They were radio silent for the last two weeks, but with a projected July 10th arrival at port and July 12th at dealer, that is only 30 days total from the June 12th drop in Sindelfingen. WOW
Awesome I am sure you are looking forward to driving it again!, I cannot wait for more pictures of your Rubystar T, I am eagerly waiting for my Ruby T as well, (plz more pictures, it helps the agony of waiting for mine hahaha)
Despite being my 7th Porsche and 4th 911, this car really surprised me again. The manual is so easy to drive in all traffic scenarios and the word that keeps coming into my head is "refinement". They always deliver a great product and this one is no different.
I can tell, even since my last 2021 992, that this one has a couple of build quality updates and the PCM infotainment update was a welcome one. This Porsche doesn't have rattles for my first time ever (knock on wood!)
Ice Grey color is absolutely stunning and I have had many many compliments in car shows so far. It really feels like a PTS color at times.
Tons of power in this car, with torque down low. There is some secret sauce in the T, no doubt in my mind.
IMO Full leather interior is essential on these. The Slate Grey leather pack is great, I was prepared to be disappointed in the contrast but it looks white at times in certain light, so I'm cool with that. My build ended up being a neat greyscale scheme.
Burmester is not worth it over Bose, which I had in my last 992. It's loud and clear, which is great, but Bose got a nice upgrade in the 992 that I wish was available during my allocation month.
Rear steering is essential and I still regard it as the best option in a 911.
The base seats are nice and the material is elegant. I would have picked buckets if available, but now I can finally access my rear seat delete cavern.
Engine noise piped inside is the only noise you get from the car. 991.2 T was hugely better sounding from the outside, but 992 has a striking "3D engine sound" inside. Cold start is the most frustrating thing about the 992. It feels like it lasts for 5 minutes!
Front axle lift is not necessary, glad I skipped this time.
If I add anything, it might be a muffler bypass, cold start tune-delete, GT3 Sideskirt, or Porsche dashcam. But I also like it as-is.
Alas, I may end up trying to keep this one after all, despite still being "between gigs".

Congrats on your first miles! Glad to hear it's made an impression on you and, as a fellow Seattle resident, that you don't feel the front-axle lift was necessary.
Got these unexpected pics today, finally confirming no side decals! That said, I sure hope those spots on the right side of the car (below door handle and on edge of rear fender) are just really strange glare vs potential damage...
@SpyderTarga congrats on the car and thanks for the review. Appreciate your POV. Have all your 991/992s had RAS? Why is RAS such a must for you?
I know RAS is a polarizing one, but to me, it makes a huge difference in this decade of larger platform 911s. 2 cars had it and 2 did not. 1 of each generation actually. I personally notice it in almost all driving scenarios and the turn-in from a track-performance standpoint is stellar with RAS. Makes the car feel lighter and sharper to me. The turning radius for parking lots is nice too. I understand why all the GT cars get this option standard.

EIGHT WEEKS TO GO .
That spot on the rear fender looks like glare to me 🤞🏽

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I went back and forth about 3 times and ended up skipping it. I may be getting a second T allocation which I'd take just for the sake of getting buckets. It'd be a second opportunity to spec RAS.
I've recently wondered how ras impacts kicking the rear end loose, and if it makes that impossible or a likely better answer is I don't understand physics or engineering well enough to ask the question in the first place.
Hi all - picked up my T ~2 weeks ago. First time porsche owner and looking forward to many many miles. If others are in the nyc area, I would love to connect and meet in person. Pics of my gentian blue T below!

Hmm. So far, I honestly can't tell what the RAS is doing. I just know that the traction in the 911 seems virtually limitless. I have tried to force the rear end out a bit on turns on the street just to get to a point that the traction control lights flash... it's never happened on the street yet! I finally had to go into a parking lot and put PSM into sport, and only then, in first gear, in a parking lot, was I able to get some movement. So is the RAS helping to improve corner stability? Or is this just the classic 911 recipe at its best. I don't recall my 996 being this stable.
I'll continue to learn the car's limits, take it to a DE day and safely explore them. I suspect the summation of my two cars is that the 718 is the more enjoyable street car for me since I love that balanced feel, especially in the steering, but that the 911 is the better track car given its advantages at the apex. Plus, it's got that sexy ****!
