992 Carrera T Club
Hello all
Overjoyed to introduce you to my new T. It's my first new 911 since 2005 (Gen 1 997 Carrera S) and I still can't quite believe it's mine. Some photos from PPF jail and some from today's collection. First 100 miles were bliss. Gearbox and clutch a joy. And the sun shone...

I haven't seen "4-5 weeks to get on a boat" as most peoples' cars were on within days. That sucks

Update on Sport vs Sport Plus: I just got back from my morning "add the miles for break-in purposes" drive and I can confirm, there is definitely a throttle mapping difference as I mentioned earlier, plus the PASM and backfire differences. So Sport is the best setting for me. I like the quicker throttle map and the exhaust burble. And I'll assume the nannies are stricter, which I prefer for the street in case something goes wrong, even though I have not been able to set off any lights for traction control yet.
Made it a habit to switch to Sport mode as soon as I turn on ignition. Also, someone mentioned E-brake. I just put it in gear and go. No issues so far. If brakes breaks, take it in for warranty
Fellow T-mates in tri-state area, have u been or seen outside today? What a glorious day. Definitely will be a 2 to 3 hour lunch pickup day

I've had the car for 6 days since getting out of PPF jail and I now have 626 miles on it. I can't wait to finish breaking it in, change the oil, and LET HER RIP!
