I hear ya on the personalization. Figured if we cant all have our cars on there then maybe keep it generic. Happy to change it.
I may be nitpicking now, ha. But add in this image somehow? It’s actual pic of Bear Mountain road. I swear, that’s it…otherwise looks awesome. We may need to put u on the payroll
Video just out comparing 3 cars around Willow Springs.
Not the T, but its big brother the GT3 RS. Gotta respect that Z06, especially if you take the price into consideration!
@dassArse Your profile says ur in OH. U need to join us at our NE meet-up on 9/10. We could use a winged blue T there. @duktail is coming from OH too. You fellas can cruise over together. Spend that weekend around Bear Mountain / Upstate NY. It’s awesome there during early September.
@tourenwagen U my need to step it up a bit on ur Meet poster image. I may need to order custom T-shirts for all attendees as gifts to entice more to join us
20 minutes outside and already covered in pollen! Will take some more pics later or tomorrow since my driveway is in shadow rest of the afternoon. My first manual in 15 years, had a few idiot moments on hills as I get used to the clutch and figuring out my best seating position but overall loving the experience, looking forward to going for an evening drive later.
Already swapped my clear side markers and installed the quick connect cable for the ctek lithium battery tender.
Coming from my C63 I can feel a few things immediately, car feels low, the (lack of) weight and that this car has much more tire to power ratio! All new experiences for me but very pleasant so far.
Car is home, so happy.

Congrats man! I feel like the wait has been especially painful for you because it looked like you were getting your car early at first... Glad its finally here and you can enjoy it pollen and all

I was on a steep hill today also. Noticed something interesting. I was expecting it to roll back as I let off the brakes and it didn’t. They clearly added tech to prevent that. Drive it more and I think you’ll see how easy and fun it is to drive. I don’t miss the heavy clutches of the past and the gearbox, it feels a bit notchy at first drive. Today I was shifting 1 thru 7 with ease. Gearbox is so good that no way I can miss a gear. Short throw and crisp. It’s the best I’ve experienced. Also played with the steering more today and it’s sharp with great feel. There isn’t a driving component I’m not happy with so far including the feel of the standard T seats. Only the audio is lacking but I think I know what’s needed for me. Volume level at around 20 seems like the sweet spot to get blended car and music sounds. Just need more solid bass at that level. Don’t need to be blasting it in the T. And I’m a music freak / former DJ. In my younger years, every car I owned had crazy high end systems with kickers, etc. At the Ts max vol level 30 it’s not that loud…but I don’t think u need it louder than that if u want a good blend with awesome T noises.

I'm looking forward to more pics as I wait for my GB T. And I remember my cars in Boston turning Python Green in the spring with all the pollen
the hill assist/brake hold is handy for sure, but for me at least I need to get more used to the logic/behavior of when it engages. I couldn't tell if it was engaging automatically or when I depressed the brake before letting off like it did in my auto c63. I think with time it will make sense to me, just need to get out and drive it!
I will also say I have not even touched the audio, just been enjoying the noise. Looking forward to unleashing the revs as I get more miles on the motor.

Yeah, there's an anti-roll back feature for hills steeper than I think 5 degrees. I tested it out two days after delivery coming out of the tunnel in to the infield at Watkins Glen International. It's steep so I stopped the car in gear, clutch in/brakes on, put the car in 1st and took my foot off the brake-brilliant!
Could you post a pic zoomed out so we can see the whole car pls? Looks great close up
Apologies, I was away for a couple of days! Not cleaned and the front is covered in dead flies, but here goes! Quite hard to see skirts in the shadow, so will take some outdoor pics and post more!
I’m really pleased with the look though!
