Interesting. I skipped the folding mirrors on my CGTS to keep it simple and light, but in my tight garage, I kinda regret that, so I'm adding it for my 911T. Especially since the T will be in the right bay so folding that passenger side mirror helps going in/out.
Under puddle lamps: fun for the money.
Fuel cap: I'm told it's a requirement to join my local PCA (kidding)
I imagine the axle lift weighs a fair amount. I'm going without it. Hopefully I can clear my neighborhood speed bumps!
I'm debating writing something custom on the arm rest just because, well, we can.

If you can notice 7kg, you're a better driver than I am.

Carbon roof is nearly $4k. That's a lot. The web site says it saves 30%, but how many pounds is 30%? Does anyone know?
I love the idea of doing something that saves a lot of weight, but that's just to continue the theme of the car. I'm not a racer. I'd do it for $1k or maybe even $2k, but $4k is a lot IMO.
Thoughts?

We know buckets will be available, hopefully soon, but do we know if PCCB will be?

The T will likely hold value better than an S (991 or 992 version). There aren't threads like this one for the S that I'm aware of. There's a reason for that. Porsche created an aura around the T (though real or imagined) that is undeniable. It's carved out a special place in the 911 lineup that isn't far off of what the GT car sentiment is. It's a bit fanatical in ways that don't exist with the other trim levels within the range....when you buy a T It seems you join a club. Similar to the GT cars. And those in the club genuinely feel that they are in a special category of ownership. That's likely to change a lot if Porsche floods the market with these cars. But It's hard to imagine that happening when you look at the volume distribution across all of the cars they produce with a manual transmission... The sad thing is that manual transmission Porsches will continue to be a complete anomaly as larger and larger chunks of the population won't know how to drive one.... So maybe I'm wrong! If no one knows how to drive one, they may not want one! 🤦🤷
That would mean from August 2023 they start to produce the .2, i may be totally wrong but its just my thoughts.

All over the place on builds...probably wouldn't do LWBS due to loss of practicality (I plan to daily weather permitting). Would consider adding PCCBs and Bose if they become available. Sport design package might have to go...along with the side decals.

Disclaimer: I have the CF roof on my car, I got it mainly for looks, but any weight reduction that high up is an added bonus.

The more I play with the configurator, the more I end up with a base build. Ace of base. I'm on the fence with RAS. I did not have RAS on my 991.2T and can't say I missed it. The car handled phenomenally. I have driven cars with RAS, and found it most useful in tight parking situations. If you have a spectrum from simple/manual/analog <-----> complex/automated/digital, I want to be toward the left and I believe RAS is more toward the right.
I am really surprised they released the T at the end of 992.1. I fully expected it to be a 992.2 car. I want to see what the 992.2 looks like before buying a 992.1. Do you think there is any risk the T won't be continued as a 992.2? Maybe they released it as a 992.1 because there won't be a 992.2 T?? Or maybe they wanted it as a last hurrah for completely ICE T if the 992.2 Carrera is a hybrid.

This will be replacing my daily driver, a 991.1 with near 100k miles on it. I want this one to last as long, so less complexity is better, but if RAS is such a decent upgrade then I’m willing to add it on.

This is where I am as well; I’m honestly undecided about RAS, I’ve built a very lightly optioned (ventilated 18 way seats being my major addition) T, but am trying to determine whether to go with RAS.

This is at-least what I have been told in the UK.
Spoke to my salesman who is a ‘Porsche Pro’ and he said the 992.2 will go hybrid apart from the GT products. Which makes sense because both McLaren and Ferrari have gone hybrid with their Artura and 296 GTB + GTS. And no doubt Porsche will want to compete. So I would not worry at all about the .2 and personally think it doesn’t look as good from looking at the spy shots.
But, if I was to order a C2, C2S etc due to delays, it pretty sure would be a .2.
Loving the racing yellow and spec of your T!
Best of luck.
