I’m enjoying this little debate😄
I wonder if 2 guys have ever got into a physical fight over what the true ethos of a T is?
If the T really still stands for touring, meaning you could take it off road, or similar, then why the 10mm lower suspension?
Maybe this should be renamed the 911 Carrera L for lightweight - that would make more sense.
The word ‘light’ begins with an L in most European languages.
I’ll write to Stuttgart and tell them to change it for the next generation

I don’t see how. It’s exactly what Porsche intended by bringing back the T model name. Go back and look at how the 991.2 Carrera T was introduced, the entire presentation was tied to the original 911T. It’s only natural that people would compare this 992 iteration to previous ones.

Weather is still miserable and I couldn’t get nice pictures so far but I can share my first impressions of the most debated topics.
- RAS it‘s my first time driving a non GT 992 with RAS and it’s very noticeable. I like the extreme reactivity on the steer and the feeling on corners. Yesterday i provoked the car on wet tarmac (under 3.5k rpm) and generated a pleasant and controlled drift, very smooth indeed.
- Stereo. The base stereo is quite poor but the high road noise level (especially with the exhaust on sport) would overwhelm any premium hifi unless you go to deafening volume.
- Engine noise. Very present (and pleasant) in the car with sport exhaust on, road noise is also quite high though.
- Non leather dash, it looks very spartan, not sure if I would select in a daily 992 but I would say it makes sense in a T.
- Omg this Gt silver looks epic
2. Burmeister ordered....feel like it's overkill.
3. sounds like a 911.
4. I was under the impression that UK 911s were all optioned by Porsche GB with leather dash?
5. Proof please. Don't give a flying *** what the weather is like.....just need real world pics!

I always thought that PDSL+ was a "must have" but I guess not? Do all 911s have the 4 point DTRLs? What do the PDLS+ lights do that the standard lights do not?
I think your spec is lights out man...beautiful.
