Three Wheelin'
Congrats. I was born in Bonn but been living in the States since 86. I go to Bonn every couple of years. Have a trip planned in July to do the RingTaxi as well. My friends live in Ahrweiler. Hope you got through the flood safe and sound.

Can someone collaborate? Is this not, after 7,061 posts about hopes, dreams, and expectations, the very first T to be delivered to an RLer? l

It's a PDK. I drove back home (around 320 km) but unfortunately with crappy weather (rained for about 80% of the time, so it was a good way to try the WET mode).
It drives beautifully and it sounds pretty good to me -- I'm not an expert, it's my first 911 -- so I guess the lightweight glass and reduced noise dampening was a great choice by Porsche engineers.

I think that was for the previous version of TYD. I just explored a bit and this is what works for me:
> Get to this page in TYD on a PC (dont think it works on phone).
> Right click, inspect
> Select NETWORK tab on top right
> Refresh browser
> Once refresh is complete, scroll the lines on the right screen until you find your internal build code Probably starts with USMG if you're in the US. Click on that:
Scroll down and expand PRODUCTION IMAGES. That's where they are stored. I have have 2 and both are showing on Insights from Production so not sure its like the old version where there could be hidden images...

I tried this. Found a VIN and pics... but from my 2022 CGTS! LOL And all the pics were studio pics, no longer my production pics. I guess my car is still about 10=2 days away from being anything.

I agree completely but a few have had US dealers tell them they need to order FAL and/or exclusive silver tips to go with the standard PSE in order to get the dedicated, labeled button. Crazy. I don't mind programming a diamond if my car doesn't have the button.

Once your configuration is acknowledged by Porsche, they'll send you a link for TYD so you can follow the progress of your dream. I got my allocation 12/20/22, sent in my final build configuration 12/22 and got the TYD email from Porsche 12/23. From that point forward I was able to see exactly what was going on albeit with some minor delays in notifications.
