Is there a way to get 911 embroidered in the headrest without the Carrera T package? The package is too expensive for an embroidered logo and different seatbelts.

I highly doubt the T has any gearing changes vs GTS or S. It likely retains the same final drive & gearing (3.55) as those two. For comparison, the previous T had a slightly shorter final drive @ 3.59.
There might be other minute changes in play but none can be eyeballed from the marketing materials.
My hope is that savagegeese's yt channel manages to get this car early & gets engineering support. I feel strongly that is our only hope.

Second choice would be Gentian Blue with the Painted Front Spoiler Lip, which adds up to $128,470 ($4,940 less). Definitely something to consider...

Gentian is beautiful. The Standard T interior includes 911 on the head rests embroidered in black. I only added the leather package for the leather dash.

I am tending to agree. If you want/need a PDK I am not sure the T is the best car for that.
But thinking about this more deeply, if you want the cheapest 911 with PDK + PTV then you probably should get the T?! On the other hand jumping to the S does yield huge performance gains for PDK out of the box. You will pay a very hefty premium for that though!
If you were going PDK only, which trim would you actually purchase? Like with your own money!
Everyone on this forum says that everyone is going to be ordering their T in manual only. And yet, more than half of 991.2 used T's have the PDK! What gives?!

my gut tells me they’ll need to use a shorter final drive than the S/GTS get. Because the base engine doesn’t have anywhere near the same torque low down as the S/GTS which is really needed to carry the long gearing in those cars.

If you order a T today, by the time you take delivery the facelifted 992.2 Carreras will have been released and your T will look dated as you drive it out the showroom.
Porsche need to concentrate on competently delivering the current product line they have.

As for your other point, the T has almost certainly always been in the business plan for the 992. At it's heart, it's simply a re-configuring of existing options that are arbitrarily set by Porsche anyway. I mean, there's no reason they couldn't allow the base Carrera to have the MT, PASM and locking diff other than they didn't want the hierarchy to be upset. So how in any way does this break their concentration?
