992 Carrera T Club
This quote is about as overdone as the “when in Vegas” saying. Overrated IMO. If you’re really worried about driving a slow car fast, size a rubber washer under the gas pedal to limit your throttle 😂
@VarTheVar @quarterscale @CurryPuff thanks for the road recommendations! Haven't seen another 992 the entire trip and ran into one at Semperviren's Point. 35 was a lot bumpier than I expected and I definitely scrapped my front bumper on a compression closer to 92. Unfortunately 9 has a couple of lane closures currently but the first part was great.

Getting it back from where? And hey Will, I didn’t know you were over here as well as Ferrarichat. What other cars do you have so I can make sure I continue to have the same 😂 Jeesh
@Will Motivation Man, that’s a long time for something that can be assembled in a few days. Do u know anyone in corporate? If not, PM me something that identifies your build without sharing anything personal and I’ll send my contact a note to help push. Ha, I’ll just tell them you’re very disappointed in not making our NE 911 meet this month….

Good point on photo Friday....here's mine (first pic of it for this forum) a couple weekends ago....did The Suches Loop, Georgia's 'Tail of the Dragon'. Amazing route even though it was wet and sometimes raining
but hey I'm still in break-in (1,200 miles now) so not ripping it up out there. The upside....almost nobody out on a Saturday morning.

I don’t generally like silver cars…but something so right about it on a 911!

I told myself I would PPF this car for the first time but something is still holding me back. I've never done film on a single car I've owned. If I could just magically apply it I would be more willing but I don't love the idea of removing headlights, mirrors, door handles, emblems on a new car. Also, to do the full car is over 10k, which is kind of crazy. I would only do the front. What I'm wondering is, can you see when the doors and rear are not done but the front is?
Does no one leave paint naked anymore? For 10k I feel like I could have the whole car painted better than the factory.

To answer your question. No, can’t tell the difference. Not sure if u can pick up from a pic, but fender has PPF but not on door.
