On another front, the brake warning light due to disconnected sensor is misspelled "break." C'mon Porsche! You break in, break down, take a break, etc.; you brake to stop and your brakes are what make that happen.Spelled it correctly originally then didn't.
GO JOSH!!!! #17

I would absolutely refuse to change the brakes if I ever saw such an awful misspelling like that.... at least until some software update corrected the spelling and apologized. Unacceptable.

I am reading your post here, and laughing incredulously to myself.

wondering if you even have the mental capacity to think or reflect on what you type out and post here?
I mean honestly, read what you posted and tell me with 100% confidence that you would not change your brakes if you saw this come up in your car, damaging your rotors and endangering yourself and others on the road.

Think before you post

There’s a raffle for a 911T https://my.onecause.com/event/organi...79/shop/raffle

that Larry at Ammo NYC mentioned and detailed the vehicle. Odds are 1 in 3000. About 2200 tickets left.

Looks like Porsche is being influenced by the typically horrible spelling and grammar that plague the internet as a whole. Similarly, in the 992 GT3 the gauge cluster screen lists the PDK Sport setting as "PDC Sport"...

It’s not a joke to me.
Someone I knew quite well didn’t change his brakes when he should have on his Shelby cobra and died after hitting a wall going over 120 miles per hour at the track in my state. His brakes failed and couldn’t slow down at all. It’s also why our PCA no longer does track events there.
You all who never had this happen to you find it hilarious and is just a harmless funny joke.
It’s not funny to joke about not doing proper maintenance on the only thing keeping you and others from serious bodily harm.
But please keep ragging on me not getting the joke.

In other news, I'm picking up my T tonight! My daughter has named the car "Flash", sight unseen. We also broke the news to my wife. She took it better than expected. Pics to come. I was thinking of PPF'ing the car given it's non metallic black but I don't think I want to. I think I will leave it naked as always. I'm excited to get it. It's the first 911 I've spec'd myself.

.
HOW THE HELL DID HE GET HIS CAR ON THE TRACK IN THE FIRST PLACE? To participate in any on-track PCA, Trackmasters or otherwise events, I have to have my car tech inspected which includes measuring the thickness of the brake pads along with proof of the last brake flush THEN I get tech inspected AGAIN at the track. Yes cap lock screaming but jeezus, Mr. Cobra had no business being on that track with brakes like that.

Rant over.

There are plenty of venues and events that allow you to sign a waiver, accept liability and off you go. The PCA inspection process is a bit of a PITA in my experience. I understand why they do it but that doesn't make it easier/better.

true, I think something happened as in a catastrophic failure on the track, or the inspector thought what he had would he fine for the track. But ultimately he didn't come back off the track. Also this was not recent, for sure not within the last 5 years, where safety has definitely been improved drastically, but the owner of the track after this happened shut down the track for a while and then sold it to new owners I belive
