This is brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing but...heavily worked in photoshop. Look at the white lines on the edges of the tires and underbody. Kind of like it was photoshopped into that location. I realize it isn't but that's how it appears with all the work done in the digital darkroom.

She's born. Production has been completed. And with Michelin tires! The fact that they offer these pics is so cool. On schedule for 8/28 arrival.

Some quick Porsche noob questions so don't flame too hard:

1. Tire Pressures - What's a suitable range? I have the PS4S - had them on the M3 but that was 700 lbs heavier.
2. Break In - I'm at 300 miles and have been keeping it (mostly) under 4k but varying the revs (local driving mostly) but i'm dying to open it up. What's an acceptable mileage to let er rip? 500? 800? 1000? Planning to take her to the track in August so want to get break in done by then.
3. Also, with my M3, BMW did an oil and diff fluid change at 1000 miles. I don't see that Porsche does that. Does it make sense to change the oil at least or is this not a concern?

1. My tires came pretty overinflated when I took delivery, I ended up lowering them to 33 front 38 rear which is described as "comfort" pressure in the PCM where you set the tire pressure targets.
2. There is much discussion of break in, I have seen anywhere from 900-1800 miles suggested, just build the revs gradually with each 100 miles or so, while some others say let her rip out of the gate.
3. I asked this question to both my dealer service manager and my indy shop and both suggested it is not needed and just do the oil after 1 year or 10k miles.

1800 Miles...all under 4K rpm for break in!
