Best Devon Racer.
IGM is a mercurial color. It can appear grey, silver, white, or blue under different environmental conditions. It's a modern Porsche color, and perhaps a future classic.

grey (in the company of 993 cousins)

light blue (Gulf Blue wanna-bee after a bath)

white (goes well with the titanium grey S wheels, dusted with a med. coating of brake dust ... white body + bronze shoes)

I’ve got the same in my 4 ways, can anyone with 18 ways confirm if there is a hard bit at the back, center of the cushion? Thanks

That's exactly what I was referring to in that raised part (the hard bit in the center) but also the cushion in front of the rasied part just feels like it doesn't have enough foam in it on the 4-ways.

What additional items did you receive from the factory with your new 992.1 Carrera T? I received a center console storage bin (to replace the cupholder), a front license plate bracket, and of course the owner's manual. Am I missing anything? My dealer lost my window sticker, so I'm wondering if anything else was lost. Thanks!

I think you can print the window sticker from either the my Porsche app on the phone, or the computer by logging in to my Porsche.

I decided to do a sound upgrade on the T. I began with SOUL sport cats. That wasn't enough. I was going to go with a SOUL X pipe to replace the entire muffler, but didn't want to lose the ability to quiet the car down and use that cool exhaust valve switch. So, I changed directions and went with the M-Engineering Stage 2 tune.

I don't own a Windows-based laptop, so I had to buy that. I landed on a refurbed Surface off Amazon (<$225). I was nervous about installing the tune, but the process went extremely well. The sound upgrade is amazing and I'm pleased.

Here's a short video of the results. The first part of the video the car is in normal mode with the valves closed. The sound gets noticeably throatier when I switch to sport mode and the valves fully open.

Sounds great! The Soul sport cats; did you install yourself and did you keep stock DP's? Which specific item is it and cost?

For the stage 2 M-engineering tune, is it necessary to have the sport cats? How's the exhaust smell? I was behind a tuned 992 the other day and the exhaust was much smellier.

Any other impressions on sound, e.g. highway and backroad cruising (open mode). What about the power delivery and overall driving impressions with the Stage 2 tune?

yes. Don’t drive your car on the track; you’ll want to sell it immediately after. Drive someone else’s car; one that has the performance to enjoy it

I didn't do the install myself. It was much easier to take it to my shop as the bands on the cats are inverted from the factory and hard to reach. I didn't feel like trying that laying on my back. I did keep the stock DPs. Here's a link to the cats for price and item # - https://soulpp.com/product/porsche-9...ic-converters/

I don't believe the M-tuner needs sport cats. That said, I did supply their team with the mods on the car and the octane rating I'd be running. There's no gas smell that I can detect.

I just installed the tune, so no highway or backroad driving has been done yet. I also only have 500 miles on the car and haven't romped on it yet - untuned or tuned. The main reason for the purchase was to increase the sound.
