I have/had leather, "race tex" and now "sport tex" in all kinds of cars and had the chance to test them in the 992 too.
As long as you wear pants, there isn't much of a difference in feel and "grip" between the "texes". Race tex is a little more grabby, sport tex is a little more "cooler" (as colder) and a tad more flexible/pocketing. For trackdays race tex is "better", for touring/daily/weekend fun, sport tex wins.
If you go "full leather" and ventilation (the only way to get full leather in a T), you get a somewhat harder "seat cushion" and subjectively a little "higher" seating position too (in combination with the 18 ways the S tested had). I did not like it at all.
Unless you REALLY need ventilation, get the Sport tex (also, going full leather, you lose the "911" in the headrests, a "T" exclusive thing), it belongs in a T.

Mine just arrived, late Christmas surprise from my family. It's pretty darn awesome. Thanks for the heads up, @Uhu.
Selfie, or it didn’t happen!
I have a present envy now :/

Well, Wife just put a deposit on a Ruby Star 911T, on its way to the Port of Providence. Pics in a few weeks.

Wow, didn’t see that coming. Plus buffeting(which can be corrected). I guess they literally meant it when saying it had a raw feel. But even so, most seemed to have crowned it the sweet spot in the range. Should be fun!

Good Evening all I have the video of my dad chasing down a GT2 RS on Tail of the Dragon, with my 992 T that I had just picked up.
This is the video I keep talking about but has kept slipping my mind to edit it and post it.
This video might give a little insight into how much grip the T has as well as how it will do at altitude, driving hard on the track or curvy road.

And and even more impressive is that they kept within the speed limit all the way🤣

Ah, that's where I went wrong.
Yeah - by ‘stripped out for lightness’, they don’t mean the driver’s clothing🤣🤣

My car is only a fun car so only fun miles. No daily driver and not used a single mile for work. So you are just way back behind. No excuses there. You said you would add a column for daily drive or not? Curious how many people use it only for fun (95% I guess?).
100% go for sport-tex! Especially with deviated stitching because you will get the red 911 logo stitched! And cloth is usually way better with sportscars because you sit a bit better in the corners. Although the 911 seats are just good even with leather. But no doubt here. 100% cloth unless ventilated seats are a must-have. You still get the leather smell so only upside on this matter. And it looks just stunning.
Maybe try some other tires. I just love it all. It’s part of the T experience.
