The question is are you sure you will be able to get up and down your driveway? If not you may consider this:

(1) Front Axle Lift System - $2,770

I also have a T that is going into freeze on 12/19 (build starts on 2/1) so I've been looking at many of the posts here, asking lots of questions and getting some great advise for the past few months.

I love how bold you are with your build, especially with Ruby Star + the Aerokit. I went back and forth on the aerokit a bunch for my car but ultimately decided to keep it more subdued. As far as FAL, I opted against it since I don't have a driveway that's steep. I have an S7 that's pretty low that I've learned to drive at the right angle over speed bumps and driveways, so hopefully the 911 will be the same

@TheSunTheSea Firstly, welcome on board and congratulations for having the coolest handle on this forum👍👍
As @Vernin says, you should option what suits you there’s no right or wrong.
Personally I wouldn’t bother with some of the external (non-visible) items like fuel cap and engine cover.
Also depends on where you live but seat ventilation AND heated steering wheel??
As for the rest I quite like it and I couldn’t live without my 18 way seats (back problems).
Enjoy😎
Ha, I'm in Colorado so the summers get warm and the winters get pretty cold Hence both ventilation and heated steering wheel. To be fair, the ventilated seats were more because I wanted full leather for the seats

Have you had any issues with it? True, but I had some trips that I had planned many years back that I took my car to, this year. Which I will not be doing for another 5 years or longer., I will not drive 20k in a year I don't think.

I am not saying my car will not last 10 years, frankly, I am not sure how long it will last. The thing with the Mesger engines though is they are bulletproof, and the most reliable engine ever made, by Porsche. We have no idea how the engines in the 992 will last. I am worried about the GTS 992s though since we have the same engine, it is pushing more HP from the same engine, which means it may have more stress problems than the T or the base
I once had a car that I thought might turn to 5 digits. I stopped driving it before the wheels would fall off. I've not run that risk since.

@TheSunTheSea Welcome. Exactly I also wanted full leather, and like @Barkat03 highly recommend the 18 ways your wife should love them.
Not much weight penalty. Like everyone else just chose what you like, it's a minefield really just go with your instincts and trawl the photos on this site and other Rennlist threads. Best Devon Racer.

Wonder if a product like XPEL, a ppf might be a good idea on a windshield?

MT v PDK
In the UK there are currently 26 pre-owned 992 T’s for sales of which 4 are MT. So a ratio of 6x1.
Assuming the ratio of new sales is quite different it begs the question
Following this forum from the start I’d guess among Rennlisters on here it’s at most 60/40 MT x PDK?
Any thoughts?

They make a special product for this. Exosheild is one option. Mine went in for that before I even drove it home. It's a must on the lightweight windshield.

I understand that US market forces Porsche to bring back MT . . . Kudos to you guys, so we in Blighty can still enjoy the MT cars

Seriously, just buy what you like… forget the percentages sold unless you flip or need pdk because of hip/knee problems.

I’m sure they will sell what sells anywhere they can make a sale. The U.S. still likes its Porsche with a stick. Ferrari and the likes, not so much new.

This is why I did it as well! I like having full leather seats and I live in New Mexico, (15-110 degree range)

Makes sense, it is still so impresive

Some companies do that. My dad's Track 911 has it and his old turbo. but the only place He and I trust to do serious work on our cars, and if needed or get anything like that done is in Nevada is a whole day away, and the person who does it is a person you are not allowed to hurry, so it can take anywhere from being done that week or months of waiting. Since my 911 is the only car I own I would rather not have my only means of transportation gone for multiple months
