ADM isn't a thing here in the UK and I believe the EU. It's either against the law or Porsche doesn't allow it. I remember asking my retailer why they don't take a GT allocation and then sell it with an ADM and was told they can't. More surprising was the comment that even if they could, it makes more sense to give the allocation to a happy customer who will hopefully then return.

It would really surprise me if they electrify everything all at once. I would expect that they’d just start offering electrified variants, and also continue to sell their ICE-only cars (where prohibited) for as long as possible.
I hope that Porsche gets their alternative fuel figured out

I hope you’re right but in reality it’s only two engine platforms the 3.0L and 3.8L for conversion. Not to mention only 1 body style (widebody) now as well for fitment for the additional parts. The Turbo models are a no brained given it’s current configuration (AWD, PDK only, 0-60 somewhere in the 2’s). The GT’s will stay NA as long as possible but even that is in jeopardy. Not to get too far off topic but that is why I wouldn’t wait too long to grab what is being produced…the winds of change are coming, hopefully they will produce a T, I just wouldn’t hold my breath. Just a few short years ago enthusiasts were disappointed in the switch to turbocharging but Porsche felt it was necessary to meet environmental regulations and performance requirements. On the bright side, Porsche understands what it’s customers want and why they have such an intent following and will do the utmost to keep the enthusiasts wanting a Porsche even if electrification is required.

The 992 Carrera T will have a naturally aspirated 4.0 producing 450hp, a manual trans, bucket seats, lightweight glass and will be the only narrow body 992. Released as the 992.3, only 992 T’s will be produced for the US market. Base MSRP $110k but they’ll be instant classics and will trade for $200k + right out of the gate. Oh and a factory ducktail and PTS available as options. None of this is true, but it’d be cool if it was!

It will definitely be a 992.2 if they do another T. As a current T owner, i hope Porsche decides not to build it, so the current cars can retain more value.
I think the major selling point of the T would be getting manual with base engine and all the lightweight & performance options. I think there is some room for it in the current hierarchy.

Speaking of NA 4.0, I just got a 4.0 GT4 for about a month now and absolutely love this engine. There’s actually decent amount of torque at low RPM for casual driving and good amount of power at higher RPM when you push it. I keep thinking how perfect it would be if this engine makes it’s way into a non-GT 992, especially in a Carrera T.

Virtually every 992 delivery appears to be presold. My dealer and many others report no 992S allocations, so in effect Porsche raised prices significantly (over 10 pts).
What would be the current business case for a lower priced model?

To grow your longterm market share! Let's face it... If you leave your market to the old and rich, they eventually die off. You need to attract a spectrum of buyers that allows growth through the range as people succeed through their lifetime. You need to dangle the carrot in front of them... move it a mile away people loose interest and move to another brand. Most people buying GT3's now, weren't 20 years ago. Plus this current supply shortage is only temporary due to supply chain issues.
