PORSCHE DASHCAM APP Issues - Update.
So after spending hours trying marry-up the dashcam to my phone I gave up and called the dealer.
Turns out the software in the cam is some crappy one Audi ditched 2+ years ago. However luckily the dealership guy used to work for Audi and he finally sorted it.
Basically did this….
-Download the Porsche Dashcam app
-Turn off Apple Car play.
-Press power button on dashcam for 30 secs.
-You’ll hear 3 bleep after 10 secs but keep pressing.
-Go to the app on your phone
-Select connect to WiFi
-Select new password
-Hey presto, it works!

I wished that was the case for my black T, but probably not because I didn’t get the metallic so assuming not as sparkly. Ha, I’m starting to wonder if they ran out of black paint. I only buy black sports cars. Haven’t driven a stick in a very long time. Miss it much. Currently have a fast AMG, but really miss MT. My last 2 manuals during my 20’s was a black 300zx twin turbo and black Supra. Ha, no such thing as rev match back in the day. Wonder what that’s like. Hmmmmm.
honestly, I wonder as well! I have always driven cars with no rev matching or nannies, can anyone who sees this tell me if you use it? if it helps on the track? if it helps during shifting day-to-day?

Most of them are a bit abstract and feature the Taycan (I like the Taycan well enough, but I'm team T pretty hard right now!). I'll share my favorite abstract (intended as a mobile background) and my favorite Zoom background. I imagine all of us with orders will get them or have already gotten them.
The posters are very very high quality images. I'm talking 180MB JPEGs! So you can actually make good prints out of them.

In the past (many moons ago) I used to rev between gears to keep the revs up and possibly shave a tenth here and there.
But the auto blip on these cars probably doesn’t do anything to speed them up

The festival of speed is more casual. It started to rain, I was in the VIP pit area and I relocated to under a large tree, another gentleman joined me, we had a chat… until paparazzi arrived and then my heart sunk as I realised, it was Jacky Ickx! I felt lake a ****(!) but Jacky was very cool, he probably appreciated no-fuss chat. I took a selfie with him and moved on… another good day on the track

Awesome 911R background!
I am looking for a cool 911 image that I can print on a 3m wall… the seat would probably be too large for that :-)

I got the ship name from my SA in an email when I asked. The TYD app is not accurate when it comes to shipping/port arrival/departure/ etc. The accuracy seemingly ends when the car reaches Emden, Germany. You'll have to find out which port your car is coming in (Houston? San Diego?) and search on the port's website by ship name.
