That's interesting because it's the standard front bumper people have been calling the catfish mouth. This started when the 992 was first introduced. Just shows you that beauty (and type of fish mouth) is in the eye of the beholder.
Truthfully I could live with either one as both are well designed. I am now attempting to keep my build under $136k so SD is currently not an option for me unless I give up Shark Blue for Guards Red or White which I have considered doing.
Funny, we are really on the same page today. I was about to post that but you are quick on the trigger. I remember when the G80 M3 was introduced and Monkey said it looked like a rabbit face. That was the end for me, I couldn't shake it.

Ha! Black is the only color that makes the G80/G82 somewhat livable.
The G87 is not horrible. Quite possibly the least offensive design that BMW has recently released

Ironically, I hate that frunk straight edge. Looks stupid IMO. I know it's retro, but some things retro are not to be brought back.We all love curves, not straights in terms of aesthetics.
I agree with most points, don’t shoot the messenger

Very true. As well as some other points. It had an elastic or synthetic feel which I didn’t like. Loved it on my 4S.

You said this a couple of times, but this cannot be correct.
The pictures make me want to agree with you. Unless they just wanted to show it off in their inventory as, let's face it, Porsche dealers don't have much to show. But I have had new 911's come off the truck with 50 miles on them, so that isn't an indication of anything,

At BMW anything coming off the truck with 7-12 miles is considered the norm and anything above that is considered abnormal. Recently had one come off the truck with 21 miles and we were flabbergasted. We do not take photos of anything that is not readily available, otherwise it is just a waste of time and money.
Edit, BTW, The Porsche locator has the white T in Nashville listed with 12 miles.

(formulated as neutral as I could) You do realize that I live here, not visiting the same streets/places every couple of years, over and over again, as a tourist?!
But, it's always nice when someone is telling me how my daily life should feel or be.

I think it's easy to read things as more judgemental and absolute than intended on here and I can see where both are coming from. I'll add that I feel a lot more comfortable driving in Germany than the USA probably because it's harder to get a license, there are more (smart!) rules, and a much higher rate of awareness and enforcement of laws. You both mean well and don't intend to be absolutest. Just each providing perspective.
That being said, it's the only place I've ever caused injury to a car. I had elected to rent a small compact car, but ended up with a huge Passat Estate/Wagon. The parking garage in Freiburg was tight and had a blind sharp unforgiving corner (so glad I wasn't in something far more expensive!). The proximity sensors stopped beeping and everything looked clear, but CRUNCH as I came around the bend. Door and rocker panel totally busted I'm going to be extra alert with my T when I pick it up in Stuttgart next month.
