If by some miracle this post by a Noob gets read...
I have a confirmed order. My freeze date is November 3, 2023 with a January 2024 delivery. Though I have been told by my SA (somewhat emphatically) that PTS is closed, I've read here and elsewhere in the past few days that people are ordering PTS. I was also told by someone with a popular YouTube channel that PTS re-opens in September, 2024.

If you're at V215 or later, your PTS is locked.

wow! I'm really digging the combo. Making me wonder what mine would have looked like had I stuck with white. I can't wait to see it when you add Lizard stripes and the wing.

I got a call from my dealer this morning offering a November build slot but not PTS. Rather than turn it down and possibly miss out altogether I have taken it. PR942XQ2
I have also placed a deposit for a PTS car just in case it returns early in 2024 as I see this car as a keeper and would hate to find 992.2 is auto only etc. Really want Gulf blue and as few nannies as possible.

No it's just a great place where car guys hang. A bunch of Porsches and Astons there on Sunday morning.

If any T-mate is going from NJ/NY and want to cruise there together, let me know.

My status is V200. I think he's a pretty experienced salesman. Here's what I pulled out of him through a few emails:
He says Porsche has a habit of pulling forward freeze dates with no notice. He wants my configuration changes as they come so he can get them in the system just in case. He says the dealership will not submit a build with a known error (he insists PTS is closed and is therefore a known error) for two reasons: 1) the error could delay there allocation, and 2) "Having the error will also affect the dealer's allocation for a particular month. We will not enter a known error or material stop sale for a car."
Not sure what the second part is all about.
He knows I want PTS and says he'll keep me posted if for no other reason than "always cool to have a unique build in my repertoire." Works for me.

I love purple, should've given it more thought given my heritage
A display option went away?
Is this just me?
I used to have a display option directly to the tight of the tachometer that would show strictly driving info, most importantly oil temp but I think also air temp, fuel level, and other non-media info.
Now its gone, presumably from a pushed PCM update.
The “reduced” setting says 194* oil temp at all times (false info), and the only other setting that shows oil temp only shows is on a gauge, not as a read-out.
Has this also affected y’all (south) / you guys (north)?
