992 Carrera T Club
That's a pretty quick turnaround from ED drop-off to re-delivery - how many days/weeks was it (I rem 6/6 was your ED date but not sure your drop-off date)?

Burning Brakes
I had the whole car done but not the headlights.
Net result after 4+ months..
Paintwork: perfect
Headlights: 2 fairly obvious stone chips
In hindsight I would have got them done. In fact when I take the car for the 6 months post PPF inspection I will get them done

So waiting for your picture!
Finally !!! And still not able to drive it haha.
Primary focus: live in the moment and enjoy the HECK out of the experience! Take photos as you see fit, but only after you've made sure you are present for it. Once the car is collected and the scheduled time is over, every photo you can imagine
And don't forget the interior photos!

You have been waiting for your birthday present for a while now, so enjoy every second of the special day.
Get as many pictures as you and as others say with you in them. I did a factory collection in 1970 and no record of the day at all - regrets!
Enjoy, Best DR.

I am thrilled with overall timing... ED date was 6/6, Drop off at Stuttgart/Sindelfingen was 6/13 (8 days of driving and 1300 miles), departure from Emden port was 6/28, arrival Davisville 7/12, PDI complete 7/21 and redelivery on 7/24. All in all it was just over 5 weeks from drop off to re-delivery. Very fast process for me.

Im also getting some tear away pieces installed on the rear arches... So there will be a full car wrap and then they are going to do a second layer of Xpel on top of the first layer in a couple areas around the wheels that they can take off and reapply every year without having to remove large sections

+1 on headlights. I wouldn't do it any other way. Love the protection.

Three Wheelin'
@Uhu I hear you. I was considering doing exhaust and tune and after getting the car, I've decided to pass on them. I hear you about lowering the car too, though I decided to pursue that option. However, all cars, 911s included, come with less than ideal alignment specs to ensure novices don't get into trouble. That plowing you mentioned can be dialed out. And alignment is a maintenance item anyway that you can always put back to OE specs. @Macboy took the words out of my mouth/keyboard. I encourage you to consider an alignment, as good as the car is out of the box, it can be better and makes a difference in those type of turns.

Great advice and they got awesome pics and vid for me anyway. Thanks again @wilmaya and Calvin!

Thanks. Indeed not the best with that brightness. Hopefully some new pics soon. Love the color and choices. Yellow belts and tacho. Stitching. Porsche weapon on the crest. Love it. Especially with the shark blue. What a dream combination. I would order it now like that in hindsight.
I was wondering why you didn’t do that for many months now too
Lol. Should kick that video for people who still don’t know. You with your photographical memory got any idea which page it was?
100% orange stitching. Leave the belts black. You can change them later. You can definitely do a white tacho and chrono with this combination. I also see you got the most leather options included which is a must with such a beautiful specced car. Lower door parts and inner sill door guards. Don’t forget the last bits: fusebox with the middle vent part in leather and the floormats and the backside of the rear view mirror. So your deviated stitching is really fully paid off to the max. I think Race Tex will work brilliant in this killer combo. Golf blue with orange stitching and white dials and the race tex steering wheel and shifter. Endboss. For sure. But please leave the “Carrera T” logo! All other 992 already have that so it’s less special.
EDIT I see now that in USA you have the Extended Leather Package for $1,360. This really is a bargain. Great choice. But I also see you don’t have the backside of the seats in leather. I think this would be a must with this combination. If you are at the end of your budget I seriously would consider dropping the Extended Dashboard in Leather and adding the backside of the seats in leather. Reason being the dash is already in leather so you are only paying for that small part stitching in front of the chrono. While in the 991.2 the leather dash had the stitching everywhere on the dashboard. This really is a rip-off by Porsche. Would be my advice.
