Possible, they may be using the port parking lot as their warehouse to control inventory levels.

Anything is possible these crazy days, nobody to trust.

Guys I knw the wait has been driving you crazy but the conspiracy theories are getting wilder and wilder. Why would Porsche who needs cash flow hold off on delivering $130K average cars and in the process make a whole bunch of high incomes customers angry when they have no certainty of cash flow over the next couple of months. Makes no sense. At the end of the day you are dealing with some corporate incompetance mixed with governmental slow down - the cars will pass and this shall too

As a scientist, I don't believe in conspiracy theories or fear-mongering.

TYD says my car will be delivered on 11/13.

Hmmm 11/13? That's Friday the Thirteenth

Oh crap!

I spoke to my dealer yesterday (Friday) and he told me, without any prompting, that the "Release Date" was the 6th. As quite a number of folks seem to be hearing the same story, about the 6th, from various dealers who are almost certainly NOT talking to each other, I have some confidence that this November 6th date is something that Porsche is telling all their dealers. So I'm assuming, with a 99 44/100 % certainty, that the November 6th date is a reality.

They are simply telling you the on sale date that is in the system; and yes that is how Porsche communicates to the dealers.

Unless they're using Black Cat Delivery Service and he has to walk under ladders to get the car.

Lol I know... “some dealers have have significant production delays...but we here at Porsche prefer to just hold it at the port while we have a pissing match with the EPA”
