my dealer, which is the largest in NJ, hasn’t gotten any 911s or 718s of any sort and other than that one guy from MA, I’m not seeing many posts about northeast deliveries. COME ON DAVISVILLE!

You should feel guilty for NOT getting a manual! If we don't buy manuals, you know what happens? Porsche will stop making manuals! SAVE THE MANUALS!

Agree with you on the side markers - biggest "bang for the buck" cosmetic improvement you can make for the 992. $125 at Suncoast and very easy to install.

Default Davisville: “released for transport “

Dealer emailed “released for transport”

Not sure what that means.
Anyone have any clear knowledge?

I’ve been “released for transport” since Tuesday, which I think only means that it CAN be shipped, not that is has been shipped. The meaningful one is the next step “Exit Port Davisville” which means it’s on a truck (also an exit notification email would be sent to the dealer). I’m waiting on both of those things ....

Does not seem to be any rhyme or reason on how they are trucked from San Diego, but not first in/first out. We arrived in San Diego on 09/05 and I have noticed cars which arrived after us, have been delivered to dealers... TYD is showing 12/11 for us...Oh well, that's tomorrow...

That's correct - "released for transport" in the PSVM system means it can be transported. The actual date listed for that should be the date of CARB certification for you CARB states. My 992 (not CARB) was "released" on the date of EPA certification (11/12) and "exit port Baltimore" on 11/14. Dealer was notified by email by port processing when on the truck, as you said. Per my SM that is the standard procedure. Your SA or SM should be able to provide you with a printout from PSVM - a copy of my final tracking sheet attached.

But TYD will default to Friday dates for projected milestones, so can't count on that. Hope it's true, but your dealer should get an email from port processing when your car is on the truck, so you may want to ask them to let you know as soon as they get that.

My TYD just changed to "En Route to Porsche Center", but the date is still estimated 10/30....

It was "Port Processing" earlier this morning...

It's coming!!!!

BTW, it wasn't just my 992 that dropped in Norwell. About 7 other 992s were dropped, all customer orders. Amazingly, they said mine was the first off the truck. They also got in some '21 718s I believe. They said they have at least another 20 992s at port, all of which are customer orders. Check Porsche Westwood too, as they are showing dealer stock with stock numbers. Most dealers don't assign stock numbers until cars have been dropped. Maybe they do things differently.
