Yea, that can be printed any time. The question is if the vehicle gets titled.

I don't know of any OEM that would risk giving a vehicle to a dealer on the chance that the dealer would try to sell it to a consumer prior to EPA/CARB certification. There is no telling what a dealer might try and do, even IF you as the OEM don't give the dealer an MSO.

I guess the question is can they print this without official fuel economy figures, and would EPA authorize a fuel economy number without the car being emissions certified? Agreed that Porsche won't release a bunch of vehicles to various dealers without it being approved -- they would be in hot water if a non-compliant vehicle got sold to a customer.

According to the Monroney Label this Cayenne should be sitting at the Porsche Dealer in Thousand Oaks California.

Rusnak/Westlake Porsche, 3839 Auto Mall Drive Thousand Oaks, CA 91362

Picture of the car this Monroney is from, is on their Website is attached.

Anyone local that might want to pay a visit up close and personal?

monroney labels are printed after the car is epa approved. The 2021 Cayenne has the both the epa and the Monroney label block lifted in the Porsche system.

My bad! I had assumed (and we know all about that word) that the Excel file EPA posted was already fully sorted by Model Year . . . . but apparently NOT!

The Porsche's shown are all 3.0L DCT 2Wheel Drive Cayenne's.

What's really curious is that they're showing them as having passed CARB certification tests as well. Although the CARB site is still not showing anything after the end of August.

What fun! NOT!

Maybe you could/should? Being a Smart Alec is easy. Being, or attempting to be, constructive . . . . well now, that's usually a bit more of a challenge.

It is actually a different file. The only ryandarr1979 posted is the detailed evap test results, while the one peterdouglas posted is vehicle model listing. It seems like the EPA just updated the evap test results without updating the model listing.

This all assumes that someone at the EPA is “Johnny On The Spot” with updating this list. Who knows the lag between when vehicles are certified and the list is updated. I doubt they’re that fast with it.

That may well be.
But — rather curious if P-cars have actually received EPA/CARB clearance but PCNA has not released cars in bulk.

I went on Auto Trader which shows hundreds of 2021 Cayennes for delivery including our dealer which shows four.

Says the person who is now posting a smart *** comment. I'm not the one complaining about needing to see physical proof that these cars do indeed exist on dealer lots...but thanks for the wisdom old man.
