BMW, 75 (2021) 128 (2020)
Benz, 48, (2021) 115 (2020)
Ford 35 (2021) 293 (2020)
GM 185 (2021) 257 (2020)
FCA 69 (2021) 138 (2020)
Nissan, 36 (2021) 65 (2020)
Honda, 18 (2021) 57 (2020)
Tesla 0 (2021) 21 (2020)
Porsche 0 (2021) 54 (2020)
Pagani 0 (2021) 1 (2020)

I checked 2019 numbers, they are about the same ballpark as 2020 numbers for most manufacturers.
Thank you! I hadn't taken a count of the 2020 vs 2021 certifications by manufacturer. I saw a huge jump between the September report and the October report with zero for Porsche and thought, AhHa! My bad! Your closer inspection is actually good news!

i do feel bad for those that live in a colder climate and aren't able to enjoy their car during the winter. Just another reason to live somewhere warmer!
Been there done that, native Californian here. No problem here in Colorado. When my C2S shows up, I put the Michelins on it and drive it all winter. Just like all my other cars.

What does Tesla need EPA approval for? Ha!

The Evaporative Emissions (HC) check is for the entire vehicle. That includes the paint, tires, interior, etc., etc., etc. It's called the "Shed Test". Then the eMPG is also calculated as a part of the certification process.

Hey it sounds good and that is what I am going with
I'm being told that my 2021 Spyder will be sitting at the port until early Dec. (it has been there since the first week of Oct.). So I will most likely not take delivery until mid-December, missing this entire driving season. (I have no intention of putting snow tires on that car, ever.) Incredibly frustrating.

So does this mean November 6th is not happening?

I don't know. There may be different dates for different models. Again, mine is a 2021 718 Spyder. Most of this discussion has been about 911s. As of two weeks ago, I was also told that no 2021 models, at all, have been delivered to customers.

I should not complain about my 911 sitting in port as I am in Texas, so driving a nice car year round is one of the perks. I am sorry you will not be able to enjoy your awesome Spyder until Spring.

My "Production Complete" date just got pushed back from 10/16 to 10/30 so apparently there are delays in the factory as well. I had no options that I can think (e.g., sportdesign kit, PTS, factory PPF, etc.) that might cause an additional delay.

We are disappointed about the delivery date...we are hoping it is inside in San Diego as the ocean air is not conducive to cars sitting outside. At least we do not have to worry about driving it once it does arrive as we are just coming into the best weather of the year for us in Palm Springs area.

Mine finished production yesterday, 3 days ahead of schedule.

Wish some of the dealer folks who frequent Rennlist would chime in. Even if they don’t have any insight, atleast they have experience with EPA/CARB delays. If my car is delayed, it is what it is. It’s going into hibernation from December until March anyway since I have no intention of driving it in the winter. I was just hoping I’d have some time to enjoy this 50+ degree weather in New England before it turns to **** after Thanksgiving.

My SA let me know the 21 cayenne got its clearance on the 15th which was the expected date so hopefully some reason for optimism.
