It's been a ride.
Researching the Porsche website, it seems that garage pilot and IPA require lane change assistant (radars required). I don't have it in my car, I'll try this later on the cayenne.

Innodrive may be possible with ACC and lane keep assistant (level 2). I see several lines regarding innodrive and traffic jam assist. Also traffic light recognition - I wonder if it's the countdown Audis have by connecting with smart traffic lights. If it requires paid Porsche connect, then it's a no go. I'm not paying for that crap.

Some things are simple, being present in a line or two of programming in a single module. Several other things require more than a module being altered. It's a lot of trial and error.

I did a reset of the PCM, and my Mobile Data and WiFi are now working again.

Cold garage. Turns out I was doing something very wrong with the power supply, plugging directly at the battery. That gave a low voltage in the modules, shortening my sessions.

Today I managed to get rid of the airbag activated/deactivated message, turned on the performance screen (torque/power)- very cool on the go.

Changed some settings on the ACC regarding how aggressive it goes back to the gas, turned on predictive sailing (to be tested) but more interesting is the option to turn it on at the speed limit. I understand why the nannies don't want this on as the car can accelerate but the radar won't let the car accelerate past the car in front of it and my SOP is to set to the speed limit. If I find dangerous, I'll shut it off. You can also change how close you drive to the cars, but I left that alone bc I think Porsche is not the worst on that field.

For those with matrix, activate 8G4 on the F7 menu. After auto coding, go back to the ZFAS module, I believe the setup for the Matrix HL are there. I don't have in the 992, I'll try on the Cayenne (different thread).

For kickers, changed the Home Screen to GTS. No need to call the coding police, I'll switch it back...
Some pics attached. Note the remote parking icon on the right corner of the connections menu

If you leave that gts screen on, maybe the power will automatically increase from the locked software to gts spec. .... hmmm 😁

There was an emotional 5hp increase in the garage, without starting the car... curiously I was listening to Placebo

Is that power/torque screen functional/“accurate”?

Actually works quite well. There's a red dot similar to the one on the g-force screen that kinda pinpoints where the power band is. Problem is looking down for shifting at the curve. I think this is the same screen available for the TT and TTS.

Good thing that HUD is likely to be available for the 911, based on multiple entrances on PIWIS.

Another thing I activated was google option for phone connection. I wonder if it's android auto. The android phone I have here is too old but the following screen popped up when I plugged in. No way for me to follow on this.

Makes me wanna get this software ><

edit: could this be used to reset oil service as well? Seems like you can’t do it manually.

For sure, it's in the maintenance tab but I've never been very interested in that as I managed to include 3 year maintenance when I purchased the car.

Yea, it’s included - just curious, was thinking of tackling at home.

@John Mclane thanks for all your work and feedback to the group. This is great and looking very promising for those looking to make some tweaks, especially for the lights in the US (sorry I don’t need as it’s legal here in Europe). I am interested, but don’t have the need for anything important so haven’t been able to justify the Piwis purchase yet. 😀

Have you fixed this problem and what power supply are you using for your coding sessions?
