I gave up on Porsche North America and my local Florida dealers. Bought a 991.1 targa gts manual. Couldn't be happier. Sad I have to fight to spend 200k to get a car during a "pandemic".

Getting back into a 911 after a short hiatus and about 15 cars in the past 3 years.
My dealer said I could take the 4s cab or 4s targa, and I'm leaning cab because my kids loved the c2s cab so much. Targa with young kids looks too tight based on the Doug Demuro video I saw.
Anyways, just waiting on a trade value to lock up my build, but if anyone is interested, the cab is a jun/july delivery and the targa is sept/oct delivery. Discount on the targa was 2% if anyone wants it

There is a reason the Cab will be delivered 3 months before the Targa.

Have to wonder if there isn't an issue that was identified during the port inspection. Your SA should be able to get some information on this (if they try hard enough). Others with port delays (not due to EPA/CARB certification) have been able to get information through their dealership, but suspect that you need to hound them a bit. I'd be all over them at this point - if there was an issue identified at the port you have a right to know about it.....

Nice! Did you see or are those SA pics? Looks like all shipping film/foam is present!

Post more pics of your interior - Mine is finished and waiting at the Port of Emden to ship to San Francisco. I also ordered the “dipped” Bordeaux red interior but with metallic Carrera white interior. I am a guy of extremes and despite my SA suggesting The black dash and red interior was “better” I also opted for the entire red interior. I also almost picked the silver exterior and it looks fantastic with the red interior. I regret not getting the upgraded stitching I can see on the door. I was already at $40,000 extra on options but now that it is built I regret not getting the white of red dials, the extra stitching and the upgraded wheels like you selected. In retrospect Next time I will err on the side of too many options and spending a few bucks extra rather than regretting not adding a few options I end up not having selected.
