The sound I have is a cricket/slash belt sound. It was hard for me to explain in my earlier post when trying to explain the noise, but yes, I have a similar sound.
My dealer (without actually checking anything, just listening) says that the belt, chirp, sound is normal on 991 and 992s. I want to claim bull****, but many people I speak with says it just sounds like the typical janky 911 engine.
My issue is that I like to have my windows down and listen to exhaust and it's hard because once you are fixated on the chirp, squeal, belt/lifter sound, it's hard to not hear it.
Maybe it's the same, maybe it's not. but I am starting to wonder about these earlier 992s. my production is may 19 and delivery was oct 19.

I have a few noises going on....
Here are the exhaust rattle videos....
https://youtu.be/8T6L4TvYIvM
Bogs out and vibrates interior around 2-3 seconds...
And again at 26 seconds to like 36 seconds its bogging the exhaust in auto mode. (listen closely you might hear the cricket like sound too)
It slightly happens at 3 seconds then strongly at 10 seconds.

Is this what you hear too?

So Im left wondering if the exhaust drone residence is normal now. It seems many of us have it. The clicking I hear. I'm not sure what that's about. But that doesn't sound normal to me.

That clicking sound, I'm thinking maybe putting the car on a lift and listening with something like a piece of hose.....old school carb balancing trick but....

They are a joke. Both Newport and Irvine are the worse dealers I have ever dealt with. Both owned by auto nation. I actually love Circle Porsche. A privately owned dealer. The only problem is the 45 min drive to them. And my experience with SD Porsche has been good so far. But again, another 45 min drive.

Update:
The 2nd dealer is also saying it sounds normal. Which I am not happy about. When I took the mechanic for a ride, he could clearly hear the exhaust drone heat shield hum between 1500-1800. He immediately said, "huh that sounds odd".
The 2nd noise issue I have, the clicking like cricket sound that comes and goes depending on if Im on the gas or coasting. I could not replicate as loud as it is on my video. They are also saying thats normal. That they took another new car for a drive and all sounds the same. Well, Im going to ask them to take me for a ride in another new 911 to hear it for myself. Because the clicking is driving me nuts. And my last 992 did NOT click at all.
Ugh. So over Porsche right now. I should have stayed in my 991.2 GTS.

Update #2.
Dealer said both the super deep exhaust resonance like honk/hum is a characteristic of the 992.
They also said the clicking like cricket sound is normal.
And they said they recorded it and uploaded the sound clips they took to Porsche and that Porsche told them it’s normal.
They had no answer as to why my last one didn’t make any of these two noises I have.
So I’m not sure what to think, The clicking cricket sound bugs me the most.

YES! exactly. I got the same response. the click and weird whine/tick is what bothers me too. I have given up since they keep telling me it's normal and that's just the sound of the janky 911 flat 6. So I figured, I have warranty, if my engine grenades, it's on you. haha
