In terms of tires, the same applies to oil for 992s. At the moment Porsche has locked out anyone buying Mobile1 0w-40 ESP x3 for 992s as only available through dealers. This is getting really beyond annoying and starting to look like Ferrari where you need your dealer to clean the rear view mirror.

Wow, 6 week trial, that sucks. For model year 2020 in Canada, I got a year. I don’t know if that changed for 2021.

I got a year on my 2020 C2S as well. I did renew when it expired because I wanted the traffic on navigation, the enhanced voice commands, and the car finder. To the OP, did you buy your 992 new or used to only get 6 weeks?

It is AFAIK one year. So OP should go back to dealer and straighten it out.
As to oil, yep should definitely be illegal. Contacted my dealer (as they don't even have any in stock as to other oils, they said they would contact PNA...ten days ago. Haven't heard back).

Dog Car Seats
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy car sets for my two dogs? They're Corgis so they're not too large. I'd like to have a method for them to safely travel in the car when we can't take the wife's truck.

I never have good luck with these. But I tried this again anyhow. Here is my car with 7mm HR spacers. I have 1-2mm of room in the REAR between the tire lip and a straight edge hanging down the fender lip. I could do a 15mm up front. But prefer equal spacing front to back.

LOL! Its not that bad! The rear is flush. The fronts have more room to go. But I dont like bigger spacers up front vs the rear. Equal spacing or nothing. So 7mm front is all I got. But it was enough to notice and still keeps the tires from peppering nearly as much as a 14mm front spacer would.

I believe you can further negotiate these prices down. My dealership sold me a 3 year tire+wheel plan from Fidelity for $1758. In hindsight, I should not have purchased it because I don't drive my car(s) enough these days. In the past I did replace quite a few tires driving around the city so these tire plans have worked out for me, but that was when I was driving more miles each year.
