Wow. My 992 arrived at the dealer day before yesterday, and I picked it up yesterday (photos and write up to follow!). I would've been so pissed if I had to wait another month, after waiting since December. Nick of time!!!

really sorry for your situation, it would’ve made a nice distraction during the next few weeks of the CV crisis.

Wow, that ,must be frustrating and sorry for that. I would want my car to sit for at least four days without anybody touching it before climbing in.

Very frustrating. But it's funny how things work out. My build was completed and shipped about a month ahead of schedule. Now production has been shut down, so maybe I'm still lucky. Hopefully things with COVID-19 will have settled down over the next few weeks for the health of us all and of course the delivery of my 992.

Default Carrera S Manual Arriving April 3rd?

First post but I’ve been stocking this thread for a year. Back in December I ordered my dream car PLUWNRV3 and it’s arriving at the Jacksonville port tonight. I’m a couple of hours west by truck. I’ve heard of dealers closing and although I’ve been in text communication this has me a little worried. Also, it sure kind of sucks that when I ordered it the world was normal. So it feels a little weird buying a luxury sports car when there’s about to be a world wide recession. Awe, the hell with all that, right? Thoughts? And thanks for all the information that helped me finally decide on the options although I had a pretty strong opinion on my own. Thanks

My car is set to arrive in JAX also.

I don't care about it anymore. I'd just as soon have it stuck at port for a few months.

Mine's arriving in Davisville port in 7 days, but also assume it will get stuck there or somewhere for a couple of weeks or more and I'm fine with it. Still excited for my first 911, but this unfortunate situation sure has taken the shine off.
