Nope it's sitting in Benicia for the last 3 days, only about 150 miles from me but isn't scheduled to show up at the local dealer until 4/12.
Mine has been @ the San Diego port for over a week. Dealer says they have no clue if the timeline of 4/14 for delivery will hold but that it might get transported to them on the 10th. I saw that there was someone on the 718forum that had a Spyder that was on your boat that got to their dealer today from Benicia. It might be a transport issue or backlogged at the inspection point. I'm trying to figure that out myself on what the delay is for me. The only thing I know is that I'm frustrated and wasting too much of my life thinking about it lol.

I'm also headed to Porsche Perimeter (just guessing yours is too) - was hoping my TYD would get to step 9 since the ship is now halfway to Mexico (cars have been off the ship in Jacksonville for a day) so I assume it'll update today - hoping by this time next week it's on the way to Atl, but know that might be a bit soon.

Well shoot... I'm still showing its in stage 7, with stage 8 anticipated as "Your vehicle has left the port of shipment 3/31/23".

I was listening to a Porsche podcast the other day where the guy was saying that over the years he often has a Porsche on order and when he doesn't it feels odd. My opinion is that this has been pretty stressful and I once I get my car I don't think I'll be doing this again!
This is the fifth car I've ordered from Europe. The other four were MINIs, three came from Oxford, and one from Austria. With those cars, we didn't get nearly the information on construction as I've gotten on the Porsche. And if it wasn't for the community forums, once a car was loaded on a ship it was a black hole until arrival at the dealership. But the forums figured out how to decode the shipping schedules to confirm what ship a car was on - and back then I did obsess over the ship's position. Hell, I have pictures of the shipping pier in Southampton and the lots where the MINIs, Jaguars, and Rolls Royces wait to be loaded. (It wasn't a pilgrimage, it's the same pier where the cruise ships leave from Southampton)
But with this car - I stopped stressing once it hit the port. I expected delays, and knew that if there wasn't a ship headed where my car was going then it was going to sit. Now that the car is on a ship and underway, I'm pretty chill about it too. The ship will arrive when it arrives. Nothing I can do about it one way or the other. Plus once it gets to JAX I already know it's going to be sitting again because I opted for PECATL delivery.
Honestly, I'm not sure why I'm so relaxed about it this time when I wasn't the previous four times I had a car coming from Europe. It might be because this car isn't replacing another car. it might be because it's already been 13 months since I told my dealer I wanted a Porsche. Yes, I want my car NOW, but honestly I haven't even been in contact with my SA to get updates...
All that said though - as of yesterday I actually have a confirmed delivery date. My graduation date from this thread will be June 21.

Last year I ordered my first new Porsche, a Cayman GTS. I took delivery on New Year's Eve. It was crazy exciting and stressful. This time around I'm much more relaxed. I'm still following every step of the way, but more laid back.
My favorite quote during the process: "I ordered a new Porsche and now I'm a maritime expert."

I am not sure if the website hasn't updated or the car is just sitting although it should have shipped a week ago.

Glovis Sunrise getting ready to dock!
@remington Looks like you were right. It was a congestion issue. There were two ships moored in SD and the little delay yesterday was probably to let them move out.

I am like you. I ordered a 911 in 2021 and got it the week of Christmas. Now I have a 911 GTS on order and still anxious to get it, but certainly not stressed. It helps that I still have the last 911 so it is not like I have nothing to drive if the new one takes an extra month.

This is all I could find, but it looks like it’s aimed more north than where the Sunrise is moored.

Yea, when my wife was giving me grief about being car crazy last year (and always). So I showed her all the maritime stuff: "You think I'm nuts? Look! These guys are tracking their cars across the pond!" She replied: "Are you going to do that?" I then of course said: "HELL YEA!"

I echo the sentiment of really obsessing over my first Porsche order (‘22 971.2) and being more laid back this time around. Heck, last time, I watched the ship go through the Panama Canal through live webcams. I wonder if it’s because my first time, I couldn’t track anything on TYD so I had to rely on the SM/SA and tracking the ship whereas this time, I can track TYD myself (despite knowing it can be inaccurate). Or maybe there’s something more magical about the “first Porsche” experience.
