Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Congrats … I spec’d my GB Turbo S Cab with the same yellow Tach and Chrono and Speed Yellow Deviated Stitching over the extended leather package to match the PCCB’s. Based on how good the dials look on your car I can’t wait to pick mine up next month

Production to Boat
For those that have been asking about timing from Emden to a boat, I have the following information based on my personal experience: My C4S was "released for transport" on 4-21, "arrived at German port" on 4-24, and "left port of shipment" today, 4-25. I would like to thank the Rennlist poster who showed us the TYD F12 hack which gave me my ship's number. My car is on the SFL Conductor and is scheduled to arrive in Houston on 5-18, with delivery to my dealership on 5-25.

I’m hoping to get on Siem Confucius on 5/6, that sound get me to Baltimore on 5/18. My delivery is also showing 5/25, so let’s hope both our dates hold and we are picking up our cars on the same day!

After being on the wait list for a couple months I got my allocation for a GTS earlier this month. First Porsche so I'm super excited to track the journey (went through a similar experience last year waiting for my 2023 M3). My freeze date is 5/29.

Update: Moved to stage 4 production started this eventing. Now I wait for production photos to show up. It’s getting closer but still so far away from late June delivery.
Here you go …. It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're in chrome on a PC, do this:
1. Go to the TYD website.
2, Press the F12 key
3. Click on the Network tab
4. In the box to filter the requests type "api.porsche" (with no quotes)
5. Refresh the page
6. You should see a number of requests in the list but you want the one that has the name "USMGXXXXX" where XXXXX is your commission number and the type is xhr (NOT the one that says preflight). Select that one.
7. After selecting that one, click on the response tab. You will see a whole bunch of textual (JSON) details about your car.
8 In those details you will see something like this "ident":"IMO_9283875"
9. In a new browser tab, enter the url "https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9283875". But replace the numbers (only the numbers) with the numbers in your data.
That is the ship you're on. Note that anyone can do this and see more data than what the UI shows. You won't get boat data until your car is on a boat obviously.

Congratulations, you had amazing timing! I’m three days behind you, so just missed getting on that ship.

! Sprinkle some my way as well. after being stuck in production since 2/21, I hit release for transport today. I guess the missing parts came in over the weekend. I’m aiming for Baltimore as well so hold the door, holdthe door, holdthedoor, Holdor!

Finally got photos from the factory of our 911 T with the gloss black aero kit-- which was in jeopardy of being removed by the factory--but there it is in the photos. Still needs the T side decals applied and center caps and I could barely see the neo Rubystar interior trim. I opted to check every Race-tex box for the interior on this car rather than all leather interior which fits this car's motif better I think than the luxury of an all-leather interior. Added all the driving aids- rear wheel steer, and manual transmission and sport steering wheel. Lane change and lane keep and so on. Worked out to $149,560. Clear taillights and sport seats with the 18-way adjustments. Upgraded wheels as seen and gloss black window frame to match with all the other gloss black. Glass sunroof so the entire top of the car will be gloss black all the way back to the top of the wing. All my other Porsche's have been blue of some sort -- so this is a departure, but it was the color my wife wanted and a small price to pay for the fifth Porsche in the last two years.
