Let me assure you, port security is intact. When a couple of octogenarians showed up at 02:31, requesting permission to take a photo of the ship, entry to the port was politely refused.

Though not visible in the photo above, the yoke and the Tesla surrounding it, made no impression on a befuddled security guard. Perhaps its a fool's journey, but I was determined to see my last Porsche safely arrive in its last port. Along the way, I learned that San Francisco Bar Pilots are paid nearly $500,000 annually. I have noticed that the vessel tracker apps lose track of the ships just off the coast of Portugal and off the coast of Africa until they reach Morocco.

 

Anyone know how I can view the photos of my vehicle when its done being built and as it was built? On my track your dream, I dont see any pics. Just got an email confirming it is en route to the shipping port.

 

ok my GTS has been at the Emden port for a month and missed the last couple boats. I have been checking TYD daily but over the past few days, the car listing is completely gone. Ive logged out and back in for a couple days now its not even showing in my Porsche account. Any advice?

Give it a few days. They’ll show up on the app.

The app has been buggy lately. My car sat at the port a month as well, but others on this forum had cars sitting close to two months (…all east coast bound). You car could be awaiting a part as well.

 

I enjoyed reading your FB post, particularly your patience waiting for your co-adventurer. Joie de vivre you both have. I too have a car on Glovis Sonic that I look forward to receiving soon. Hope that you enjoy yours for a long time to come.

 

If you received an email from Porsche that your 911 was completed, click on the link for track your dream from that email. The same thing happened to me and I am able to access TYD again from that link.

Could be because the tracking app is not using satellite tracking by default. Some, like Marine Traffic, offer that (higher coverage) tracking mode for an extra fee.

 

Well, I suppose I will park my build in the waiting room. Ordered today with a June 22 allocation for a base 911 C2. Pretty excited. Now, we will see how close to my dealer's 8/5/22 estimated delivery date I can get this vehicle delivered.
