Curious if anyone did anything for there SA . Am I just excited to finally get my car and that is making me think my SA had something to do with it finally being delivered. Never have I thought of “ tipping “ a salesman before . That’s when I went to the dealer and waited to drive off in the car that was on the lot . Is this different or is it the same ? Any thoughts?
My SA is female - I bought her flowers when she confirmed my allocation 🤣🤣🤣
My Targa 4S arrived at the dealer today north of Seattle. 1 week after arriving in Benicia,CA. I pick it up up on Wed. TYD still says it's on the vessel. I did get emails to setup porsche connect and an email stating it was in transit to my dealer the same day it arrived at the dealer. TYD stated December 3 delivery. Glad it arrived early.

I have had a great experience with my SA. And I got a $1k discount on a Targa 4. I plan on giving him something. I offered to pay for a PEC-LA track session, but he is on the EC and could not swing it. So, I think I'll get him something he can use, like an Amex gift card. Pay it forward!

Did the dealer add clear indicators on the front on their own? or did you supply them / ask them to make the swap?
32 days for my 992 C4S to get from Davisville to Boston Dealer!!!
My 992 landed in Davisville, RI yesterday 11/15/21 on Siem Confucius, the delivery date however got moved out to 12/17/21. My original dates were loading on the ship 11/19 (but it got loaded 17 days early) and delivery date of 12/10, but it got moved out to 12/17. Does it take 32 days for port processing to the dealer ... the dealer is only 51 miles away. My SA is giving evasive answers about port processing time etc. Just getting really impatient knowing the car is just 50 miles away from me and having to wait a month.
Did anybody have their cars on SIem Confucius and if so what are your delivery dates? and second is it really taking this long at port processing ?
Appreciate any response ... this wait is killing me !!!
I emailed Porsche Customer Support regarding TYD being useless for the last 10 days. Here's the response:
"Thank you for contacting Porsche regarding Porsche Track Your Dream. At this time, there is not an estimate available for when the Porsche Track Your Dream process will update to the current status. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We encourage you to stay in contact with the sales department at your authorized Porsche dealership for the most current estimates regarding your vehicle's delivery."
In other words, don't hold your breath.

You can go to vesselfinder.com, trackmyship.com or marinetraffic.com and track the vessel. With a free search it will only give you terrestrial radar status, so you will not get real time updates once the ship crosses the english channel until it reaches close to the US coast.
If you want real-time satellite updates, go to marinetraffic.com and sign up for a 7 day free trial and it will give you realtime satellite status. I did that and it worked. Be sure to cancel the free trial before the 7 days are up, otherwise you will be charged annual subscription of $600.
