TYD updated earlier today. My car arrived at Emden on 10/6 and boarded the SA on 10/8.

For those with Halifax, Davisville, Houston, and Veracruz ports of entries, Felicity Ace is underway and should arrive at Emden on the 12th - according to marinetraffic.com. I'm hoping to make it on that boat.

How / when do I know which vessel it will go onto?

Assuming your port of entry is Baltimore, the next ship scheduled into Emden that stops there is the Goodwood. It is currently in Belgium and if it's going anywhere before Emden (e.g., Bremerhaven) is an unknown. The latest VW schedule is pretty dated now with the Goodwood as the last ship shown, and dates "to be confirmed." Check Marine Traffic or Fleetmon periodically to see when Goodwood leaves Belgium and where it's going/ETA.

Once assigned, the Vessel will appear within milestone 9 on TYD

Seems they are updating the TYD site. My update today shows "On Vessel" (SA), but with est comp of 10/22. Then "Vessel Entering Port" and "Entry Port" (Baltimore) also show an ETA of 10/22. But my eta to dealer shows 11/12, rather than 10/29

The "estimated date" is always shown as a Friday. I've always interpreted the estimated date as any day during the week ending on that Friday.
