Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!

Just have to be patient now. I had to wait 2 weeks for a ship but the good news is after another week sitting Baltimore, my car should arrive at the dealership in a day or two. The great news is it will have only been 60 days from deposit to delivery so won’t be long now for you.

If you think about it for a minute, the logistics in the background are crazy from ordering, to manufacturing, to shipping half way around the world!!! My GC couldn’t get a kitchen sink in time!!!

Rear Badging on 2024 911 Targa GTS.
I'm still finalizing configuration and am confused by the badges on the rear. My lock date is next weekI think there are three separate ones:
A. Porsche Logo in rear ($300 for gloss black)
B. Model designation in rear ($270 for gloss back)
C. 911 Logo rear. ($160 for gloss black).
Does anyone know what is standard?
Will gloss black look ok on Gentian Blue Matallic?
Is this the wrong place to post question? Thanks you all!

You'll barely see the gloss black lettering. Up to you if you like the look. Standard may need the model designation to break up the back, but SD bumper probably not.

Car just came today we went up before they could even prep it lol. Got all the paperwork done, PPF to go and pickup this weekend. First deal they did in the new facility that was pretty cool I thought!

And a great cheer was heard across the land! My car was loaded and is on the water. Map shows it off Rotterdam right now, soon to be off the movie set of 'In Bruges.' Making progress!
With a little detective work, I think my car is on the Crystal Ray. Making 14.8 knots right now, heading down the English Channel.

Jim, I just got an updated email saying "Last updated: 6/17/24, 7:00 AM Your Vehicle has left the German Port." I'm sure I'm on the same vessel, thanks!!!

My T arrived at Emden on June 14 and according to the My Porsche app is still wating to be loaded on a ship. From other posts, that could take from 2 days to 2 weeks or more, so will have to wait and see.

My T arrived on June 2 and there are two ships picking up cars to Davisvile (one is at Emden now) in next few days yet my app says car is being delivered July 24. Used to be July 7. Frustrating
