I seem to have the opposite issue to everyone else. I DON'T want the car delivered too early so depending on arrival at dealer he'll hold it for two weeks.
It's now on the Mediterranean Highway on it's way to Halifax. If it gets to CT April 2 (as originally estimated) then we're OK as it will ship out to Anchorage sometime the next week and then take 2-3 weeks depending on boat from WA to AK. If it's earlier than that he'll hold it for two weeks max. Early April is just too much uncertainty in weather and road conditions between Anchorage and Fairbanks; especially around Trapper's Creek and Healy (known for very heavy snow fall). In the meantime getting my ducks lined up (insurance change over, plate transfer...).

TYD and Port Processing
Anyone know if Port Processing milestone means processing completed or just started. I know my impatience is spilling all over this post. Thx

Looks like my car is on the way to Emden right now.
In looking at the various tracking tools, it looks like the Siem Confucius is arriving at Emden on the 14th and typically does a North American route.
Perhaps this is the ship my car will be on headed to Jacksonville and an early arrival! @TRIPLEBLK1

It means both. This status will show in TYD from the time it enters PDI, completes PDI, and is released for transport. It won’t update to the next status of “Enroute to Dealer” until it is on a truck, which corresponds to the dealer tracking system of exiting the port.

Assuming the car passes inspection, how long does this process last? Beginning of port processing to end?

Processing, assuming no damage or repairs needed, is usually a day or two. Once that’s done, it’ll sit on the port lot until a truck is available for transport which can take another couple days. So from the time it hits the port, until the time it gets on a truck (next TYD milestone), you may not get a status update for a couple days to a week.

Ok @Biersmith and @TRIPLEBLK1 my TYD is showing that my car has arrived at Emden. This is getting interesting.
Goodwood still appears to be docked - and also appears to do Jacksonville stops.
What are the odds that they'll try to stuff the car on Goodwood instead of waiting a couple of weeks for the next one (maybe SIEM CONFUCIUS)?

My car arrived 7 days earlier to Emden and went on the vessel that was already docked. Every vessel needs 3 days of advance time for loading cargo. If you are within that window, you should be on Goodwood.

If my car is really there right now, then maybe it does go on Goodwood before tomorrow or whenever it takes off - crossing fingers!
Let's see what TYD says tomorrow!

Unfortunately, the sites I'm looking don't appear to give that information away.
Thanks!
