Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Yes I did, I almost went for the full aero, but my inner 15 year old lost out to the wife And as it’s the base Carrera it felt a bit “emperors new clothes” if it had the big wing.
I am a little worried about the interior, I went with deviated leather center seat panels in guards red, but when the salesman sent me back the build it said chalk, he assured me multiple times the ‘real’ build sheet had guards red, but only by phone,

Anxiously waiting to see if Amethyst Ace finally docks in Tuxpan tomorrow morning. I think it’s been a week that it’s been idling hopefully Freeport won’t be as bad of a delay when the ship finally reaches there
Even though vessel finder says it docks tomorrow, I don't know if I believe it. The Siem Cicero has been idling near Freeport for longer than the Ace has been idling, and Vesselfinder says it has an ETA of April 7th. That was 4 days ago.
Damn. We just got unlucky I suppose. The previous stops in JAX and even Baltimore were smooth in comparison
Yeah, I don't understand why. The Amethyst Ace was only delayed a couple of days in Baltimore, then on to JAX and only a day to unload. Next they head to Tuxpan, which was added to the schedule and now they have been sitting around doing nothin for several days. What's the deal? If Tuxpan wasn't ready for them why didn't they go to Freeport and unload about on schedule with what I saw online originally.

I know it's not a 992 but just an update for folks who have a car going to Freeport, TX. It took my 718 GTS seven days from being checked in to get to Porsche of Colorado Springs!
You get to play the tire lottery first.
I also read there used to be a spoiler lottery during the supply chain disruptions, where they would upgrade some front spoilers because they just didn’t have the base spoiler lips on hand.
And there was the automatic steering column give-away, where some got the automatic steering adjustment and some didn’t.
The fun games are endless.
Enjoy!
