Finally made it on a boat and the boat now seems to be moving? Any other Siem Cicero buddies?
They went from Germany to Belgium, to Amsterdam, never went into a port, but did anchor at each spot for a couple days. I never saw a tender approach, but I missed large blocks of time as well.

According to this still May16/17 (Amethyst Ace). (but according to this they just arrived at Emden yesterday (May 16th) https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9397999)
https://www.pwl.de/en
(below is the instruction found in 718 forum)
On the middle right side of the screen under Liner Schedules select trade lane US
West - and East Coast"
Then under select carrier choose Volkswagen Konzernlogistik Export
Your web browser will download a PDF file containing the shipping schedule for the next month.
Find your expected V332 Exit Port Emden date on your build schedule and then look under the Expected Loadready Emden col umn on the shipping schedule.
Find the vesselwith the closest load ready date and you can look across that vessel s row to see the planned shipping schedule.
This will give you an idea and when you can expect the ship to arrive at your US port. To figure out which port your car will be unloaded look at the U002
Entry Port event on your build schedule. It will say Entry Port XXXX . These schedules can easily change based on weather

The Amethyst Ace is actually coming in 5 days sooner on this updated schedule - let's see if it leaves on time.
I was on the Siem Aristotle which arrived in Davisville last weekend and TYD updated with enroute to dealer this morning and then the final preparations are being made step just about an hour ago! Have yet to hear from my sales guy but hoping to sign the papers tomorrow and have the car delivered to my detailer on Monday!!!
it was an automatic email response (in German). There is weather east of the vessel in the Atlantic, so possibly that's the root cause that has caused this vessel to literally just drift for the last 2 days. Assume the reason all other vessels are not following suit is they're not carrying millions in luxury automobiles...but that's just speculation. Will be interesting to see if this ship starts moving over the next 36 hours once this storm front passes. If weather related, it is strange that they simply wouldn't dock in the Portugal island of Santa Cruz, vs. wade miles off shore. On the "Shipping schedule Emden - USA" rennlist thread, someone actually called the shipping company last week and got direct feedback that our cars were being loaded onto the SFL Conductor well in advance of the new shipping schedule coming out to reflect that. Assumed someone would have done that for this issue as well.

Man I just got some bad news on my build which was scheduled to complete on May 16th and Deliver on June 21st...
Sadly the schedule just updated for me even though they started my build about 3 or 4 days EARLY, they have now adjusted the delivery date from June 21st to JULY 18th.
That sucks. So my build is behind schedule by about a month. I don't see anything really tricky about my build other than maybe red stitching on my seats etc.
Had a big road trip planned for June in the car so yea that sucks. Oh well.
Hope nobody else is experiencing similar set backs.

The same thing happened to me last week where the completion date got pushed back over a month from the initial estimate, but this week I received notice that the manufacturing process was completed and my car arrived to the German port yesterday. I've heard of this happening to others too, so hopefully you'll receive some good news in the next few days.
Makes my decision to sell the 488 and get a 911 much more enjoyable. Thanks you guys.

I was just loaded onto the AMETHYST ACE, ship is still at the dock for now but should be headed out soon. Anyone else on this ship should start seeing notifications on TYD right now.
