Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Navigate to your TYD page on Chrome on desktop. Right click on the page and select “Inspect”. You’ll see a bunch of tabs. One of them is “Network”. Click on that. While that’s clicked, refresh your TYD page. You should see a bunch of responses, one of those should be from https://api.porsche.com/track-your-d...rders/USXXXXXX
Click on that, then view the full JSON response. Under “currentLocation” you should see a field that says “ident":"IMO_XXXXX” where XXXX are numbers that identify your ship.
Copy that ID, then enter this URL in your browser: https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/XXXXX
Replace XXXXX with your ship ID

My 4S has been waiting at Emden since April 2nd. Hoping that it can get on the Wolfsburg or else the next ship won't be until 12 days later.
Well it's not a 992 or 911 even but this thread is a bit more active than the 718 once and I got a lot of help here. I just got an early present.. of course the day I fly out!

BIG thanks to you! It worked like a charm (with slight adaptions for FireFox).
I am on the Siem Confucius.
Initially, I was confused when they notified me that my car had been loaded, because there were no ships headed for Davisville.
Now that I know which ship I am on, I see they actually added additional stops for this vessel, and Davisville is one of them.
(For those of you waiting for your cars at Jacksonville, Freeport, and Veracruz, you can see they've also added these ports as additional stops.)

Just received word my Carrera S coupe made it on truck and now in route to ATL dealer....will have PPF installed and hopefully pick up Friday or Saturday and drive home. It was scheduled for 4/29 delivery to dealer....production, shipping etc all ahead of time...

Nice color and wheels!
It’s also refreshing to hear a story about someone getting their car ahead of schedule. 😊

The waiting really is the hardest part.
Kudos to all of you who had to endure the chip delays, and the inexplicable waits while your car is sitting in a port 5000 miles away.
I just reached my new milestone - end of production today! I received two photos a couple of days ago, but didn't receive that last 'elevator' shot yet - do those always come at the end of production?
Been wondering if I lucked out with the Michelins.
I have also been wondering about timing, as I have seen all kinds of different spans between ordering, production, transport and delivery,
Does the attached schedule seem typical? I know I've read here that this TYD can't be completely counted on as accurate. It really just keeps one engaged with the process.
Original delivery date was given as 6/3. Would be thrilled to have the car by mid-June (Carrera S/Agate/7-speed totally over-speced).

Looks like Siem Confucius is in some kind of circular holding pattern in the North Sea, just before the English Channel...

That's a bummer about Amethyst Ace changing its schedule to go to Tuxpan before Freeport. At least the schedule is updated now with 4/17 as the new date. Won't be getting my car until the week of the 22nd now, so overall delayed about about 10 days from the original date of 4/12 that my SA had given me.

I entered step 4 - manufacturing has started - on Mar 25, with expected completion on Apr 4. No news until today when manufacturing complete is now expected Apr 22. Guess it is just normal production delays. I got my allocation early Nov, so this is taking a while. That's OK as long as they eventually build it.
