Yeah, it’s odd - TYD still shows the ship landing in TX on April 5th. I read somewhere on this forum that the MX stop is to drop off VWs, but I just assumed Amethyst Ace would make that stop after TX.
I agree. Something odd. The schedule says Freeport is next but Marine tracker has it going directly to Mexico.
My car just got to the port, waiting for the next boat to Rhode Island (New Jersey final destination)! I still need to update the avatar with the new picture (previous C2S currently in there).
What’s interesting about the Amethyst Ace situation is that the VW schedule shows the ship going to Veracruz after Freeport, but MarineTraffic and VesselFinder show it going to “Tuxpan” (which appears no where near Veracruz). Given that SFL Conductor seems to have leapfrogged Amethyst Ace on its way to Freeport, I could see them going to Veracruz first and then back tracking to Freeport once SFL has unloaded, but I don’t understand why the ship is going to a totally different Mexican destination…
*Edit - Well it seems the Supreme Ace did the same thing (Tuxpan first, then back to Freeport), despite what the plan is on the VW schedule.
Does anyone know how to see ships departing emden beyond Siem Confucius? My ever delayed car is now missing Siem conficius and supposed to depart Emden on 4/19.
Could not be more underwhelmed by Porsche as a brand right now. 22nd delay since order.
Just don't know how to interpret TYD anymore. Car was supposed to be delivered in Oct 2023. It is in Emden now, and TYD has gone from blank to the below (who knows why it shows a Jan ship date 2 months prior to arriving in Emden, unless they did infact build a DeLorean time machine). PCNA last communicated it would leave Emden 4/5, but the below delivery dates suggest a later ship to Jacksonville.
Mine has done the same thing. I had no dates scheduled "Next Milestone in sight" after getting to port on 3/15. Now it shows it left 2/26, but the milestone hasn't been reached etc. Interestingly I am also in Atlanta. Doubt that last part is related but still interesting. I assume I was going to be on Siem Confucius which just got to Emdem last night coming to Jacksonville on 4/21.

good luck - hope you do get on Siem Confucius. Keep me posted. Unfortunately the ship schedules beyond Siem C are not yet available. I hope mine finds a way to sneak on also, but this rolling delay has no end.
