Pilot Express left the side of our beloved Amethyst Ace 😢 I wonder if we’re going to be hanging out there for days or weeks
My car is on the Amethyst Ace too. My SA, probably isn’t true, but said they were rerouting to Jacksonville. Again not sure if he actually knows or is making conjectures.
Sorry if this question has been answered before but at what point can you find pictures of your car on the my Porsche (track your dream) website? I received notification that my car is now being built (7 days earlier than original date) with a completion date of 4-10. Does the website post pics after the car is built?

Usually once your build is complete and you reach that milestone. So you should be able to see your pictures on or after 4/10 assuming your schedule stays on track
@GT350R In addition, you should receive an email notification saying the pictures are available in TYD - see my example below. For me at least, I received the pics three days BEFORE the separate email that my build was complete. It seems people’s experiences vary wildly. Good luck!

If it is indeed sitting now and was originally due to dock on 28 March - plus the other unconfirmed information about rerouting to Jacksonville - such would indicate that the VW Group facility south of the bridge collapse is not open and operating as some of the news media feeds (and VW itself) has reported.

It’s so difficult to know what is really going on. The army movement in the area will definitely reduce access, and we did read that sparrows point will be used to accept other inbound cargo as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Amethyst move on if not docked in next few days

There were several photos of the SFL Wolfsburg vehicle carrier unloading VW suvs (looked like Tiguans?) on Wednesday:
Other random note: SFL Conductor just showed up in range...off the coast of Massachusetts. Most vehicle carriers (esp. ones skipping Davisville RI) go straight to Virginia and then swing up. I wonder if it's being diverted to Davisville.

Wow, I just looked and saw that my last post was in 2016; life comes at your fast I guess…
I got the itch for something new at the beginning of March and a Carrera T allocation landed in my lap after shortly after a casual conversation at my local dealership. So I sold my 997 Targa, and here we are. Really loved the uniqueness of the Targa with an even rarer Dark Olive Metallic and Cocoa interior, but I’m excited for a newer 911!
I have another month yet to labor over details and hopefully get settled on interior options. Delivery in mid-July. As of now, this is pretty close to what it should be:
