Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
For Canadian waiters, just got an update from the TYD app, saying my car has left the port of shipment at around 6 pm EST, but I couldn't find the IMO# on the TYD page.
So I did a little search around the Emden harbour and found a vehicle carrier called "WOLFSBURG "left about 30 minutes ago from Emden port and on its way to Halifax, ETA is Feb 25 at 14:00 EST.
Nothing official but a thought this might be the vessel my baby is on!

Mine changed about ten days ago....to all dates in the past. So according to TYD my car was delivered before it was put on a boat and last year lol

At least it's moving in the right direction... Mine moved up two day last week and now has moved back two days to the original schedule.
Your dealer needs to set you up with TYD account. Once in production you should receive pics. I'm on my second 992 and received all 4 pics from the factory on both.. I've read from other members that most get pics, but some don't. I guess if draw the short straw, no pics for you. Lol
In the browser, on the page where you see the map, scroll below the section that shows your current step. The pictures will appear in a section just below this, titled “Insights from production,” about half way down the web page.

You should receive an e-mail from Porsche first notifying you that pictures are available. The e-mail will then have a link to the TYD. Within TYD, there will be a section at the bottom called "Insights from Production" with a couple of pics (three in my case). I, and most people, receive the pics and notification once the build is close to complete (2 - 3 days before scheduled completion). Note: reading the forum, some folks never received the pics at all or after their car was already delivered so it can be hit or miss.
Hope this helps.

Track Your Dream, and yes it is the same. The official name for the app is My Porsche so you are correct in using that term!
