Wow, good timing & luck! You just made it by 4 days! The sanctions on Belarus were placed by the US Treasury dept in 12/5, four days after your car landed. Good thing there was no delay at the port…

Track Day
Mine started production Nov 22nd but didn’t complete production until January 15th (final assembly pic uploaded Nov 24th)… maybe they held some at the factory waiting for the new ECU before sending it off to Emden?
Arrived in Emden on 1/22 but no info/estimates beyond that.
Hoping the long span of time spent in production phase was the factory getting ahead of this issue for a batch of cars with production completed after mid-dec timeframe.
Might just be me reaching for any sign of hope, lol.

I don’t think the Porsche spokesperson would have refuted on Belarus if this wasn’t the case (Jalopnik article and Porsche spokesman reference https://jalopnik.com/porsche-cant-se...-no-1851235453)
I think we are likely dealing with a trade hold related to an unauthorized sub component chip. I.E. one of Porsche sub tier suppliers, used a chip (perhaps from China) that was not authorized and it got caught in the supply chain trade review. Porsche then had to disclose which vehicles had this chip and agreed to replace.
We are watching and waiting as we are stuck in this mess with our Targa we have been waiting on for 2 years is sitting at the Benicia CA port. Was due to deliver this week, and be very frustrating if this delay pushes our delivery to April as some have estimated.
Im giving Porsche low marks for not being fully transparent in the press, us customers on the issue, resolution timing, and compensation for the delay.

From what I heard, they want to fix everything in Germany first before it gets on a boat. The ones already here or about to be here will have to wait at customs...there's no official timeline I've heard for that as I think it's just too hard to give an accurate estimate.
