Spring is a really good time to get a new car, because you can really enjoy it, especially if it is a Targa or Cabriolet!

Exciting to read of move ups. Nothing of such here with a May 2024 delivery (original delivery Nov 2023). Fingers crossed for some good news and movement like the above!

Those of you who were on the Glovis Comet waiting for offloading in San Diego ( @Aperture776 , @jbentley1018 , @kurquhart ?)... It's been a couple days since she left port... Any news on your cars or from your dealers?

Seems like we get a January hold every year. Something with EPA registration being annual and they have to wait for paperwork, then the floodgates lift. A January stop sale is seemingly common.

Oh wow, are you saying your car arrived in Houston December 18th and has been sitting outside this whole time?!? Luckily (I think) my 718 GTS is at least in a warehouse in Germany awaiting a ride. Not 100% sure but that's what it seems like. Finished production November 24th so yeah, it's been interesting.

I'm told there actually is a VW owned warehouse where cars that aren't going to ship in a week or so go, hence why I don't have the steps "Your Porsche is on its way to the German port" and "Your Porsche has arrived at the German port" completed. My last step is #5, which is finished production.
This looks like it could be a holding facility.
